Thisposition is the Global Brand Steward for one of ACUVUE contact lenses brands. This position creates and enables the brandportfolio strategy and an integrated marketing communication plan (consumer andprofessional). TheSenior Manager must collaborate with global, regional and cross functionalbusiness partners to be successful and deliver a suite of solutions to meet theneeds of consumers and professionals with a clear value proposition thatdifferentiates Johnson & Johnson Vision from the competition.

It is the Senior Global Brand Manager's responsibility to leadstrategies for claims development, new products introduction GTM (inpartnership with Innovation & Pipeline team), professional and consumereducation, content creation and communication (in partnership with the consumerand professional experience teams).

The Senior Global Brand Manager will work close to the respectiveregional brand lead, ensuring strategic guidance and supporting the local teamsfor a flawless execution of the brand strategies. The senior manager will managethe brand volume and sales forecasts partnering with analytics, planning anddemand team, as well as share accountability for the brand's regional andglobal business performance sales, share and new wearers generation.


  • Articulate the role of the Brand within the portfolio ofbrands (positioning, differentiation, integrated messaging) across consumer andeye care professional audiences with an external view to winning in the globalmarketplace;

  • Create and enable brand messaging strategy andprogramming/integrated communications in strong partnership with Global Experienceteams and Global Agency Leadership team on behalf of these brands globally andfor region-specific market needs;

  • Launch New Product(s) with aligned positioning andintegrated communications strategy for ECP and Consumer with seamlesscollaboration with Innovation & Pipeline team with focus on marketplacereadiness and organizational readiness adhering to the Launch Excellenceprocess.

  • Develop Communications Objectives/Framework, Plan of Action,Publications and Claims strategy for the brand to ensure creative and messagingis delivered for Consumers and Professionals in Regions.

  • Partner with Global Strategic Insights to providemarketplace relevant insights and implications for the Brand demand generation(inputs into communications strategy, messaging, and mediums intended for ECPand Consumer Audiences that deliver measurable business and brand results.)

  • Deliver Claims and Evidence-based messaging strategy andmessaging through strong collaboration with Global Strategic Insights and

Global Professional, Medical, Clinical Affairs Teams for consumer-facing andECP-facing audiences for the Brand.

  • Owns and Develop Competitive Responses/Action Plans throughto assets delivery in a proactive and reactive orientation for this brand.

  • Partner with Global Professional Affairs to shape influencerstrategy for all ECP constituencies (Schools, KOLs, Conventions, Journals,etc.)

  • Provide course correction activities as needed for Regionalalignment includes partnership with supply chain to meet demand changes plan.

  • Participate in the S&OP process to ensure globalforecast management (planning and supply) vetting from regional feeds and, ifneeded, supply prioritization.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor's degree is required. MBA is strongly preferred.

  • A minimum of 8years of progressive marketing experience or commercial experience with astrong track record of business results.

  • A minimum of 4years of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) experience and/or HealthcareProfessional marketing experience is required.

  • Experience in amedical device business is preferred.

  • Strong creativeand conceptual thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities,develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems andovercome obstacles

  • Proven leadershipability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams across a matrix organization

  • Strong experiencewith market research/customer insights and business performance tracking acrossa global market landscape is strongly preferred.

  • Up to 25%domestic and international travel is required.

The Brand Manager will create a selling environment focused on customer service and achieving business results. Brand Managers are responsible for driving the overall controllable contributions of their location. Brand Managers are selling leaders and are required to meet/beat personal and store sales goals. The Brand Manager is expected to meet/beat productivity numbers while maintaining a high level of customer service. Brand Managers are also responsible for identifying, training and developing the future leaders of Stanton Optical, My Eyelab and all related entities. The purpose of the position is to provide excellent customer service and assistance to patients/customers. Colleagues in this classification perform sales and customer service work. They are responsible for greeting patients, assisting patients with purchase of eyewear, providing patients with promotional information, and answering customer inquiries. The BM performs related work as directed and will be required to meet the productivity numbers outlined. The BM will create an outstanding customer experience for the patient while using proper dispensing techniques. Dispensing process will include determination of the power ranges and specific lens measurements by frame; measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification. The Brand Manager oversees eyewear quality from the in-store and/or Corporate Lab. Quality Control responsibilities include: identification and resolution of recurring errors and the development of systems and solutions to eliminate errors. Brand Managers lead by example on the sales floor and prevent walkouts/missed opportunities with the sales staff. By identifying and resolving any customer dissatisfaction as well as providing technical and sales training to the staff, the Brand Manager is charged with strengthening the Stanton Optical and My Eyelab brands, by ensuring "Everyone Buys, Everyone Leaves Happy". Over 50% of the Brand Manager's time is spent managing the operations of the store, training and coaching associates, in addition to directing the work of the Sales, Doctor's Office and Lab Staff.
