Senior Global Benefits Financing Consultant

What you can expect:

The MMB Global Benefits Financing team is responsible for creating new financing strategies and solutions for multinational clients and improving the way that we manage and interact with global insurers. The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of global employee benefits financing solutions, particularly captive arrangements, for some of our most complex clients. The scope of this role is global, however the focus will be on supporting clients headquartered in the US. The role is critical to the MMB Multinational Advisory growth strategy and will be responsible for developing expertise, improving market profile and growing revenue with multinational clients.

We will count on you to:

  • Create and deliver international employee benefit programs and financing solutions for multinational clients

  • This role will be particularly focused on international employee benefits captive arrangements and will provide consulting services to clients from feasibility and implementation through to ongoing program management

  • Enhance our market profile and reputation in relation to global benefits financing in the US market, including representing the firm at external events

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across MMB, Mercer and Marsh McLennan to deliver the best of the firm to our clients

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert, developing tools, training programs and supporting colleagues across MMB,Mercer and Marsh in delivering financing solutions to clients

  • Support strategic carrier initiatives in partnership with MMB carrier management to better leverage our relationships with global insurers

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with deep knowledge and experience of global health and benefits from an insurer/network, consulting or broking firm

  • Proven experience and expertise in delivering global benefits financing solutions for large multinational companies, in particular experience of implementing and managing captive solutions

  • Experience with delivering technical services to captive clients including feasibility studies, underwriting services and reinsurance

  • Knowledge of local employee benefits practice and requirements in key international markets

  • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good analytical and data management skills

  • The ability to travel regularly within the US and internationally on occasion

What makes you stand out:

  • Working knowledge of US benefits including Medical Stop-Loss would be an advantage

  • Ability to influence and engage senior decision-makers (clients, internal stakeholders and carriers)

  • Ability to work within a team environment across borders and to work independently

  • Client focused with an instinct for growth

  • Experience working in/with multiple countries

  • Fluent English language, other language skills would be an advantage

Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $122,400 to $244,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
