The Team:

As part of the Finance function, the Accounting team plays a critical role in ensuring an accurate reporting of the company's financial results. The Finance function has strong business partnerships and influence throughout the company. We drive financially informed decisions in support of the company's strategic objectives. We are investing in advanced analytics capabilities to enhance our data-driven approach to problem solving. We are focused on process improvement to provide the most efficient transactional support for our customers, vendors, and employees. The Finance leadership team has a proven track record of talent development. The Role:

In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate financial closing of our US-based subsidiaries, as well as the global consolidation of our monthly financial results. As part of a professional team based out of our corporate headquarters, this is an excellent role to gain a baseline of experience in the Accounting function, with the opportunity to move on to positions of increasing responsibility within the Finance organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain general ledger for US-based subsidiaries, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries.

  • Review subsidiary results posted by Europe and Asia general ledger teams.

  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

  • Ensure timely and accurate intercompany invoicing and settlement.

  • Monitor intercompany accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with tax team to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.

  • Prepare global consolidation of financial statements, ensuring intercompany eliminations are properly recorded.

  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner.

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.

  • Ensure strong internal controls around accounting transactions and compliance with accounting policies.

  • Play lead role in cross-functional projects that impact accounting, such as new buy/sell structures.

  • Act as key point of contact for SAP troubleshooting and new functionality testing for accounting.

Minimum education and work experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

  • 5+ years professional experience in Accounting organization

  • Intercompany accounting experience with international subsidiaries

  • Strong Excel required

  • SAP preferred
