Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join our team on a client site in Carson City, NV. To support system architecture, design, configure, manage GIS data and associated systems, and support our growing base of amazing clients.

Our team supports clients across the county in many industries ranging from state and local governments, utility providers, transportation, natural resources, forestry, and fish and wildlife. The GIS Analyst selected will have the opportunity to work on many exciting projects in many of these industries. As a Esri Gold Partner, we are excited to be completely aligned with the cutting edge Esri technology implementations.

The Senior GIS Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of production tasks for Geospatial projects and data management. They assist and support Project Managers and Developers in meeting project deliverable requirements and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be inspired by data analysis and system/solution development to gain insight and innovation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide consulting in best practices for data management including workflows, tools, governance models, and integration patterns.

  • Lead in the design and development of enterprise geographic information systems.

  • Performing data model design and development tasks.

  • Work tightly with our development team to provide GIS support, training, and assistance as needed.

  • Assisting in documenting and developing client business application requirements.

  • Apply sophisticated geospatial analysis techniques to data sets.

  • Development and maintenance of ESRI-based GIS solutions and applications.

  • Perform cartographic tasks to develop end user map products.

  • Provide on-going support for GIS programs and functions requiring programming and analysis.

  • Troubleshoot complex problems associated with existing GIS applications, tools, and data.

  • Working cooperatively with Project Managers and peers to complete assigned work.

You will lead a variety of projects, including career ladders, annual and semi-annual compensation reviews, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, and implementation of new programs. You will work with global business leaders as a subject matter expert and advise them on compensation reviews. What you'll do: * Act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders and HR business partners, providing consultation and creative solutions to address total compensation challenges in the business * Assist in the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of strategies, plans, programs, and procedures designed to provide for equitable and competitive employee compensation * Lead a variety of projects, including career ladders, annual and semi-annual compensation review, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement and implementation of new programs * Lead Workday compensation system enhancements in partnership with HRIS on Total Rewards Statements, etc. * Develop metrics and reports to assess the utilization of our pay programs against market and company goals * Research, analyze, and provide insights across geographic locations on future improvements, anticipating upcoming compensation concerns What you'll bring: * 8+ years of compensation experience-preferably with sales compensation and/or global compensation * Solid experience in compensation or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices * Strong problem solving, communications, and presentation skills * Strong attention to details with an emphasis on accuracy and the ability to see the broader picture * Advanced Excel modeling skills * Experience enhancing and/or implementing compensation systems and reporting tools-preferably in Workday * Strong Cross-team coordination, time management, and excellent communication skills are essential. * Bachelor of Science degree in business administration What success looks like: After six months, you will… * Be a subject matter expert and serve as the main point of contact on all things compensation to our business leaders and HR business partners * Support the mid-year compensation review cycle * Complete G&A function career ladders * Partner with business leaders and HR business partners on compensation 101 training * Standardize two to three compensation pay programs and/or processes * Create models and insights to measure corporate goals After about a year, you will… * Drive all compensation projects * Implement the Total Rewards Statement for a geographic region * Complete the career ladders project * Review and post all salary ranges We've got you covered: Our holistic benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness-as well as a great work environment, employee programs, and company culture.
