VIEW JOBS 1/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-10T00:00 We are now looking for a Solutions Engineer – Autonomous Driving (Perception and Tracking). NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a "learning machine" that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can tackle, and that matter to the world. This is our life's work, to amplify human imagination and intelligence. We need passionate, hard-working and creative people to help us solve more of these challenging opportunities in Autonomous Driving. Make the choice to join us today. We are seeking senior software engineers with interests in computer vision, camera/LIDAR/RADAR perception, deep learning, sensor fusion, and other related areas, to work as part of NVIDIA's solutions engineering team for autonomous vehicles. You will work on state of the art technologies alongside experts in the fields of deep learning, computer vision, and simulation for NVIDIA's next-generation automotive products. What you'll be doing: * Work directly with premier automotive customers to craft state of the art perception and tracking pipelines into Autonomous Vehicle products. * Design, develop, and demonstrate reference applications to strategic automotive customers and partners using the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX platform. * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams at NVIDIA to incorporate your work into production-quality code. * Develop and test software on the bench, as well as in NVIDIA and customer development vehicles. * Create and maintain vehicle perception algorithm workflows for performance and accuracy evaluations and optimization. What we need to see: * MS/PhD degree in computer science or related technical field. * 4+ years of industry experience in software development, preferably focusing on computer vision and/or machine learning. * Strong knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems and Python. * Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods. * Possess a deep understanding of detection and tracking algorithms and programming techniques especially suited for parallel programming paradigms such as CUDA C/C++. * Demonstrable computer vision skills in object detection, recognition, 3D computer vision, and/or tracking. * You are an effective communicator with a logical approach to problem solving. * Dedicated and able to work under minimal supervision. Ways to stand out from the crowd: * Experience taking a real-time perception or SLAM pipeline from development to production. * Experience with GPGPU programming (CUDA and OpenCL). * Familiarity with MISRA and ISO26262 standards. * Prior work experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics. At NVIDIA we aim to create an environment where great people can do their best work. With highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and talented people on the planet working with us and our engineering teams are rapidly growing. If you're a creative and autonomous engineer with real passion for parallel computing, we want to hear from you. NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As we highly value diversity in our current and future employees, we do not discriminate (including in our hiring and promotion practices) on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender expression , sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law. #deeplearning Nvidia Santa Clara CA
