Position Description:

  • Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at-home work site anywhere in the United States.*

Improves, designs, develops, and maintains multi-tier internet facing Web applications. Develops software using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and coding using Java, JavaScript, and Oracle SQL.

Implements REST principles to aid in the design and development of SOAP RESTful Services. Builds test suites using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Test, Cucumber, and Karate. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") building and executing against test automation for front and back-end applications, service layers, and end-to-end programs -- Selenium -- using Java or JavaScript (for back-end) and Cucumber BDD framework (for front-end); and performing service level testing in Karate or RESTAssured framework.

DE creating strategies and roadmaps for test automation and technical designs using Jenkins dashboards; and performing Cucumber reporting - documenting, communicating, and presenting design strategies to peers and senior leadership.

DE delivering and promoting automated test cases via Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins Build Server, Maven, and Git/Stash; and organizing automation development tasks and testing activities using delivery tools -- Jira, Stash, and Confluence.

DE developing software in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); and developing automated test cases, using Oracle SQL, Java/JEE, and Java Script.

Salary: $135,750.00 - $145,750.00/year.
