Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Stanley's technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for front-end and back-end development of our global eCommerce sites which are built on the Shopify platform. Our eCommerce business is scaling quickly and you will have a crucial role in delivering a high-performance, secure shopping experience that delivers on Stanley's brand promise to our end consumers.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust, scalable back-end solutions to support e-commerce functionalities using Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.

• Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance are maintained. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges on Shopify sites.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.

• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify features, apps, and integration capabilities, and bring them to the team when relevant.

Who You Are

• A successful engineer with a track record of end-to-end software development with prior Shopify/ eCommerce experience.

• Knowledgeable about e-commerce principles, including product management, checkout processes, and payment gateways.

• Well versed in Shopify's architecture, including metafields, metaobjects, multi-store, and multi-market setups.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js.

• Experienced in back-end technologies and frameworks such as Node.js or Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Skilled in CI/CD system integrations, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization techniques.

• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Passionate about staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

• Comfortable working in a remote environment and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a significant focus on Shopify preferred.

• Strong track record of delivering complex eCommerce projects.

• Experience with headless Shopify setups and custom app development is a plus.

• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, such as Git and Agile methodologies.

• Previous experience in leading or mentoring a development team is a bonus.

Salary Range

$150,000 - $170,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
