Blue Acorn iCi is currently seeking a strong Front-End Developer who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Digital Solutions team. The developer will be dealing with large, high profile clients and will be required to configure and customize solutions to meet the client's complex needs. The Front-End Developer is rooted in software development yet realizes and activates the potential the Front-End experience can offer. In addition to technical skills, this developer is required to be able to mentor and teach other developers as well as lead and guide technical direction.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers and architects, and product developers
Discover, design, and build highly interactive interfaces and content that keep users engaged and build positive brand equity at every possible point in the user experience
Slice, mark-up, and script interfaces and content on content managed, responsive websites / systems that work flawlessly on desktop, tablet, phone, and other devices
Work with Adobe Experience Manager as well as other CMS
Work directly with servers and server-side: AJAX, JS
Create events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)
Leverage APIs / Web Services and content of all types (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)
Deliver product and apps that are based on pre-existing wireframes, designs, or other client requirements
Mentor and coach existing team members and facilitate team wide acceptance and implementation of industry Front-End best practices
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industry
5+ years of relevant experience
Hands on experience with HTML, JSP, HTL (and other templating languages)
jQuery and extending / customizing plugins experience
Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands
Bootstrap 3 experience
Hands on experience with CSS Preprocessors (LESS / SASS)
Hands on experience with Front-End frameworks and task runners
Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines
PREFERRED SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES:
MVC Frameworks and core underlying principles (Angular, React, Vue)
Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages a plus
REST / SOAP Web Services
Familiarity with Responsive Design and Graceful Degradation principles
ADA / Accessibility and Accessibility Markup
Experience with GDPR compliance
This position may require travel upon request.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS REQUIREMENTS:
Common office / desk environment that involves long periods of time at a stationary desk with extensive computer work that requires repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers.
