You will report to the Senior Director of Franchise Strategy and will be an important contributor to the Franchise Strategy & Marketing Team based in Vancouver, Canada.

FC Franchise Strategy:

You will be a Senior Manager, Franchise Strategy on the EA SPORTS Publishing team. You will partner with the Studio, Marketing, and Commercial teams to:

  • Guide the development of player-first business and franchise strategies, built on consumer, product, commercial and marketplace insights.

  • Build long-term workstreams, which equip our teams to better deliver tomorrow's products.

  • Operate as a touchpoint, ensuring all teams are driving together towards a singular long-term vision.

  • Tackle new projects and opportunities, which expand the impact of the EA SPORTS FC Brand.

  • Our measure of success is to build a history of positive brand equity with our fans which keeps them excited to play the current game and the games to come.

  • Along with having interests in football, games, and business, you will have strategic and analytical capabilities, and experience overseeing workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Studio, Commercial and Marketing to identify the goals and priorities for the business, with a specific focus on the foundational FC experiences (Gameplay, licenses, vanity, and presentation amongst others).

  • Guide Franchise strategies, partnering with Studio, Commercial and Marketing to lead cross-discipline understanding.

  • Be the direct partner with the Studio team in building long-term workstreams which will be the foundation of the FC Franchise across future titles.

  • Work with analytics, consumer insights, and other partners to identify market opportunities and understand how to unlock them.

  • Support the important Franchise Strategy milestone deliverables (long range roadmap, franchise experience guide, business brief, player needs analysis) and presentations.

  • Lead long-term Franchise workstreams, which promote our priorities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years product marketing or brand management experience.

  • Experience driving collaboration across Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams.

  • Experience in marketing to multiple consumer demographics, especially with football fans, is valued. Preference for working in a large football market.

  • Experience partnering with a product development team to make insight informed decisions that satisfy prioritized consumer motivations.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.

  • Have an interest in football (soccer) and EA SPORTS FC.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $138,200 - $219,000 USD Annually

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $126,000 - $176,300 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
