Senior Fp&A Analyst

POLITICO is looking for an Senior FP&A Analyst who will be responsible for supporting senior management in monitoring department performance as it relates to sales, revenue, and operating expenses. Entails budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support major corporate decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with assigned business units to build their budgets, understand their business drivers, and communicate progress

• Refine and update financial models used for operational budgeting

• Develop insightful analysis for department heads on their business performance

• Prepare and present monthly variance reports

• Maintain monthly/quarterly forecast

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting package

• Assist in other areas within the Finance/Accounting group; allocation of expenses across the company, manage cost center structure, expense tracking, reclassifications

• Complete ad-hoc work as requested by Senior Management

What You'll Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Financial modeling

• Understanding of GAAP accounting and IFRS accounting

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management

• 2 years of experience in FP&A

• High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines

• Experience with Adaptive or similar financial planning software preferred, but not required
