Summary: Under the supervision of the Dime Community Bank (Dime) Corporate Development Manager, the Senior FP&A Analyst will be primarily responsible for creating Dime's financial forecast utilizing the bank's financial forecasting model. This will include loading and preparing the model, preparing both Management and Board level outputs, and tracking actual performance versus the forecast.

Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000 to $105,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location. Applicants should have the ability to analyze commercial real estate and C&I transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the process for preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial forecasting updates and reports in Dime's Forecasting software (Axiom EPM).

  • Maintain and update Dime's Financial Forecasting model inputs related to interest rates, deposit and loan projections, and other internal and external points of data that impact Dime's forward-looking financial outlook.

  • Prepare forecast report backups and coordinate with department leaders and executive management.

  • Create and distribute ad-hoc reports to Business Lines and Executive Management related to the budget/forecast.

  • Assist Corporate Development Manager in updating the bank's annual Strategic Plan Narrative document.

  • Assist with various special projects assigned to department, such as profitability analysis and quarterly earnings reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Finance/Accounting or quantitative business field.

  • Minimum 2+ years' related experience with a financial institution or in Financial Planning & Analysis.

  • Experience with Axiom EPM or another Financial Planning & Analysis / Asset Liability Management software preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.

  • Flexibility to work across all functions/levels in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proactive and detail oriented.
