The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.
Job Description
The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is looking for a a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Food and Beverage Coordinator to join the team of this upscale hotel. This team member will oversee various aspects of private dining, group dining, and overall F&B compliance + operational communications at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel.
Responsibilities
General
Update and send out Outlet Guide on Wednesday
Update and send out Resume Recap on Wednesday
Medallia Focus
Group and private dining growth and oversight
Entertainment coordinator
Knowledge and communication of daily function sheet, in-house VIP's, current activities, hours of operation throughout the hotel, etc.
Reservation Management, Event Planning & Execution for Omni OKC
Oversee the Private Events Coordinator productivity and growth
Set short term and long-term goals for the Private Events team for Omni OKC.
Set steps in place to help achieve goals that are for the department.
Facilitate private and group dining arrangements, including menu customization, pricing, wine selection, room setup, audio-visual requirements, and billing information.
Make reservations and ensure all reservations are accurately entered into Tripleseat, OpenTable and Resport Pass.
Train, aid and oversee Hotel Private Events Coordinator. Guide Hotel Private Events Coordinator with any minor issues or questions while still directing them to leadership when needed.
Book and plan private events if the Private Events Coordinator is unavailable. Handle requests in a timely manner.
Help grow the Event planning platform with menus and marketing.
Collaboration with Outlets and Sales/ Marketing
Work closely with the F&B Team to establish appropriate food and beverage minimums and availability for private/group inquiries.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to generate new business opportunities.
Coordinate with an outside entertainment management company for any requested entertainment in the taphouse.
Act as the property-level contact for all entertainment requests in the taphouse.
Assist FOH/BOH as needed.
Sales Tracking and Reporting:
Track and report group/private dining sales regularly.
Develop an efficient system to track repeat business and encourage ongoing client engagement.
Set revenue targets for private events.
Medallia Focus:
Help coordinate and organize lobby activations.
Deep dive into Medallia analytics to pull factual information about issues in the outlets.
Help communicate information about Medallia analytics to F&B leaders.
Attend AM and PM stand up. In the event that profiles notes/ Medallia concerns are not assigned to specific F&B area or manager they are assigned to is unable to follow up, then F&B Coordinator will complete.
Print resumes copies for F&B leadership as needed and attend weekly resume meeting and then meet with DOF&B to verify outlet hours of operation for upcoming week.
Update and distribute the outlet guide and resume recap weekly.
Compliance and Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records of all ABLE licenses for F&B areas.
Assist ASC in ensuring F&B compliance within the hotel.
Calendar and Temp Labor Management:
