We are searching for a Senior Financial & Treasury Analyst to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Senior Financial & Treasury Analyst, you will provide support for the Treasury team and will be a key source in a variety of process improvement and cash flow/position project oriented activities.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with cash forecasting and cash positioning projects as assigned

  • Corporate daily cash flow/ position and updating cash reports for holding companies (cashbook)

  • Account reconciliation of intercompany loan balances and monthly closing reports

  • Manage a Treasury Workstation platform (FIS Integrity)

  • Wire Transfers and Positive Pay processing

  • Perform bank fee analysis

In this exciting role, you will help support a Treasury function and perform key analytical responsibilities in the areas of cash forecasting and cash position projects, reconciliation, month end reporting, intercompany loans, performing bank fee analysis, administrative banking access, assisting in global cash reporting and managing specialized treasury software applications and reports

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience working with federal or state income taxes

  • Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle Accounting systems

  • Experience with data analysis and financial modeling

Icing on the cake:

  • 3 to 7 years professional experience; (Treasury experience a plus)

  • Knowledge of Treasury workstations and Banking System Reporting

  • Experience in a large company with international operations

VIEW JOBS 3/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-09T00:00 Job Description The Senior Treasury Analyst will contribute to the company's success by ensuring an efficent banking structure to support Tenneco's global operations and by supporting the Cash Manager and Assistant Treasurer on operational and strategic projects. The Senior Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of Tenneco's worldwide Treasury activities. This includes assisting with the development and implementation of cash management / banking solutions for all business segments of the company, performing the daily cash management function and supporting the cash forecasting process. Job Responsibilities: * Monitoring and managing the company's cash position, including inter-company transfers and ensuring that cash requirements are accurately and timely forecasted and funded. * Maintaining bank accounts, debt and interest schedules. * Assisting in developing and overseeing daily and monthly cash flow forecasting. * Analyzing monthly bank fees and identifying cost saving opportunities. * Assisting in the administration of bank accounts including the opening, closing, and modifying accounts as needed. * Documenting all Treasury policies and procedures. * Monitoring letters of credit and related collateral accounts. * Researching and resolving bank transactions and accounting discrepancies in a timely matter. * Responding to audit inquiries in a timely manner. * Contacting cash management and credit banks directly to clarify adjustments or to clarify items on the bank statements. * Assisting the Cash Manager in creating monthly reports for senior management. * Reviewing and documenting SOC 1 and 2 reports received from third party service providers. * Providing support for special projects and ad hoc analysis. * Assisting on worldwide projects as needed. * Assisting with leases, standby letters of credit and bank guarantee requirements. * Maintaining the Treasury document database in SharePoint. Required Experience Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, business or equivalent work experience * Minimum of 3-4 years' treasury experience in an accounting or finance environment * Knowledge of Treasury/Banking operations * Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power point skills * Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills * Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment * SAP Experience a plus * GL accounting background a plus We are an equal opportunity employer.
