Overview:

The Ledger and Finance reporting admin team supports the Oracle Fusion Cloud application consisting of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Expense, Fixed Assets and Procurement modules. This role will have the primary responsibility for the ledger, including partnering with key stakeholders to deliver the company's strategic initiatives and projects. Additional responsibilities will include build out of data and system automation, including data feeds to the ledger from multiple to source systems and extracts to feed multiple data needs. Perform user maintenance, oversee daily and monthly data maintenance tasks, and field user requests and issues. Drive continued improvement and recommend changes to current structure of ledger and financial system structure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to develop technical solutions to facilitate greater use of the Oracle Fusion system and enhance the finance organization's ability to deliver analytics to leadership.

  • Build, manage and nurture a solid relationship with internal customers and align resources and priorities to ensure consistent adoption and continuous satisfaction.

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, proactively look for areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

  • Effectively and proactively communicate system updates and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce action plans, facilitate follow-ups, and deliver reports.

  • Project work related to growth and ongoing process improvements. Work with business partners and IT to determine changes needed as part of M&A activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Manage the day-to-day technical administration of Oracle Fusion, Support the business teams in their understanding of the systems and capabilities.

System Maintenance:

  • Analyzes and evaluates business requirements by working with the finance team. Provides recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.

  • Maintains and creates interfaces with source systems. Writes basic logic or code within source systems. Works closely with users to ensure timely submission of data, integrity of data, and to provide training and support as needed.

  • Gather Business Requirements and build out development requirements/tasks.

  • Oversee the Oracle Cloud Platform and system integration projects.

  • Develop system documentation and provide and/or facilitate user training.

  • Perform setups and configurations in Financials', Account Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and PPM modules.

  • Manage environment refreshes, deployments, and setups.

  • Perform Oracle upgrades and patch releases to Cloud landscape.

  • Perform SSL certificate update on Oracle cloud environments.

  • Uses troubleshooting skills to identify, research and propose solutions to problems and accommodate necessary changes or corrective action, as needed.

  • Recommends standards, procedures, and process improvements in the oracle cloud space.

  • Contribute to training initiatives and share knowledge with team members., business users and less experienced staff.

  • Act as a change champion and advocate benefits and adoption of standardized policies, processes, and systems throughout the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Accounting or equivalent required.

  • Good understanding of Oracle implementation methodology, accounting, and Insurance accounting knowledge.

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP Environment.

  • 7+ years working hands on Oracle Financials Cloud Implementation.

  • Strong experience in managing oracle environments, configuration, and setups.

  • Interact with customers and provide guidance with Financials' Fixed Assets, Cash Management, AP, AR, GL, and PPM Modules.

  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), collaborative, analytic, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and experience with relational databases including SQL.

  • OTBI, Financial reporting studio.

  • Experience with writing test scripts, documenting business processes, and managing complex system configuration.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google docs and comfort with web-based applications.

  • Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps

  • Proficient with Oracle security and identity management architecture

  • Adaptable to new technologies and/or applications

Compensation:

The annualized base pay range is mainly based on an evaluation of comparable positions in the external market. The actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range. The base pay is based on factors including but not limited to experience, competence and demonstration of proficiencies essential for the role. The base pay is just one component of Talcott's total annual compensation for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition.

$115,000-$130,000
