Job Summary

The Sr, Financial Intelligence Data/System Analyst is responsible for developing and executing a data analytics process within the Alliance Data Financial Intelligence Unit. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a knowledge of using bank transaction systems and an enterprise data warehousing to create inventive and creative reporting. The associate will also work as a back-up to a systems engineer; with primary tasks being day-to-day system administration of the Actimize System.

This individual is accountable for managing data for critical financial crimes monitoring systems and creating useful reporting from system-derived data.

Senior Manager or higher

Essential Job Functions

Data Analytics
1.The ability to use common statistical tools (R, SAS, SQL, Excel) to categorize identify and use data sets in large data populations and warehouses to fulfill business needs
2.Creative ability to design effective reports to provide management insight.
3.Support Internal Audits and FDIC Examiners via requested Reports of Information.
4.Data Mapping work with other departments to understand their data and map it to Actimize Database/Tables

Operations and Support
5.Demonstrated ability to work basic system administration functions as defined by the systems engineer.
6.Perform system monitoring by working with IT Support group(s).
7.Perform data integrity monitoring.
8.Review new internal project scopes to determine impact to Actimize System.
9.System Administration Functions: Create, change, and delete user sign-on per request. Maintain and Create Roles and Responsibilities within Actimize.

Maintenance
10. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.

Education/Certifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, information technology or similar fields. OR related education and/or work experience.

Work Experience
3-5 years of experience in data gathering and analysis with some practical experience in system administration.

Experience in managing databases for BSA/AML transaction monitoring systems.

Demonstrated expertise in the use of SAS, SQL and Java.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The ability to resolve complex data management and reporting challenges and create impactful visual reports

Normal office environment, some travel may be required.

VIEW JOBS 3/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-18T00:00 Brief Description: Responsible for the development, analysis and assimilation of threat intelligence feeds; establishment of intelligence sharing with industry security experts; and creation, implementation and testing of logic to prevent and detect malicious actions across Huntington's network. The role works closely with other team members who are focused on testing Huntington's systems and network for threat exposures and working with other teams as appropriate on threat mitigation. Detailed Description: Position will monitor various sources for emerging threats, share information pertinent to Huntington with other teams as appropriate, and ensure action is taken to guard against those threats as appropriate. * Threat Intelligence Analyst will build processes, procedures and templates to support the Threat Intelligence function: the consumption, analysis and reporting of threat activity to downstream teams. * Monitor and update Intel requests to internal and external teams through establishment of communication process to track through closure. * Work with engineering to solution the ingest data feeds, enrichment of threat information and creation of alerts. * Develop monitoring needs for HNB critical resources, through collaboration with CIOs, SROs, Architects and Engineers, from ideation to implementation. * Identify and integrate detective measures to supplement existing components throughout the enterprise. * Develop and maintain a Threat Actor Library, to include profiles of threat actors, with support from Threat Intel team. * Provide recommendations and guidance to the Information Security managers related to emerging threat actors, methodologies, and eminent threat events. * Demonstrate strong understanding of varied Threat Actors, how threat tactics may evolve, and industry trends. Understand operational enhancements that may be available to combat emerging threats. * Provides specific information and assessment of potential exposure, covering aspects such as cross channel fraud, hacktivists movement, high profile cases and criminal behavior patterns discovered, trends in management, and tactical briefings. * Participate in cyber threat information sharing communities. Basic Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of Information Security or Threat Intelligence experience with focus on cyber security, incident response, security operations, or vulnerability management. * Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications: * BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) required to effectively interact with all levels, up to and including senior management. * Working knowledge of various detection and prevention systems, their capabilities and application. * Broad knowledge of technology and modes of exploitation. * Understand the technical details of various attacks, including network, web application and wireless exploits. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. * A creative person who enjoys investigating and identifying cyber threats and taking action to prevent or mitigate those threats. * Deep understanding of the threats that target financial sector firms and experience operationalizing the Cyber Kill Chain and Mitre ATT&CK frameworks. * In-depth experience in network monitoring/configuration/management solutions, network architecture, network security, traffic and payload analysis. * Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; ability to identify, escalate, investigate and resolve issues. * Understand the technical details of various attacks, including network, web application and wireless exploits. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) required to effectively interact with all levels, up to and including senior management. * Working knowledge of consumer and commercial banking across multiple channels preferred. * Working knowledge of various detection and prevention systems, their capabilities and application. * Strong organizational skills. * Experience with reverse engineering of malware * Penetration testing experience * Capable of sharing knowledge, mentoring, and training other team members. * Ability to manage and prioritize complex and occasionally competing tasks. * Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or SANS are a plus.
