Senior Financial Analyst, IT Finance


  • Build and maintain complex financial models and reports, including Pro-forma Statements, Discounted Cash Flow Models, P&L, Pre/Post Analysis

  • Contribute to the development of the long range strategic plan

  • Provide Business Case development/support

  • Support Executive Presentations

  • Provide ad-hoc analyses and present them to IT and Finance Senior Management


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change

  • Must be proactive, high energy, detailed-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented, and willing to drive change

  • Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment

  • P&L experience

  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision

The successful candidate will collaborate with key leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain as well as the ICS Leadership team to support financial reviews and execution of programs with significant content in the long-term PCS 5 year strategic plan. In this role, the candidate will execute a variety of program and financial control activities, including supporting quarterly Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Operating Reviews, and contract-specific deliverables. In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full complement of program controls tools (Business Warehouse, SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that drives efficiencies and meets Raytheon EVMS compliance standards. The candidate will be a focal point for Control Account Managers (CAMs) and the Program Office to support the development of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and Variance Analysis Reports. This position will be an integrated part of a fast paced finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. The successful candidate will be able to provide support for ad hoc data requests as well as participating in other projects for the PCS Business Manager as required. Required Skills: * Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional working experience * Strong computer skills, which include a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.). * Working knowledge of the SAP functions. * Good written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to present complex information to all levels of management and external parties such as audit agencies (DCAA/DCMA). * Ability to interact with and influence individuals at every level of the Financial and Program Office organizations Desired Skills: * Professional experience of applied DoD EVMS principles, including Raytheon EVMS Certification. * Proficient in APEX EV * Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders. * Shows initiative by seeking ways to expand on existing practices and improve processes and data analysis. * Strong desire to learn and contribute in a dynamic and highly collaborative team-based environment. * Ability to work under general direction and actively participate in determining objectives of assignments * Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types. * Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures Required Education: * · Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business Major This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. 130501 Business Unit Profile Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) builds radars and other sensors for aircraft, spacecraft and ships.
