Texas Health Organization for Physicians seeks to hire an Sr. Financial Analyst – Provider Compensation to work full time in their Finance Department.

North Point is located at 9229 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75243.

Salary range is Minimum $30.81/hr. to Maximum $47.12/hr. – based on relevant experience

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time; 1st Shift

Job Description:

Position exists to provide support for THOP leadership primarily relative to physician compensation modeling/review and includes reporting and analysis, new business growth and ad hoc requests.

This position performs a variety of project oriented tasks and supports the routine monthly physician compensation payroll calculations and data integrity of production reporting.

Essential Functions:

Physician Compensation

  • Responsible for the review of the calculation of compensation rates per wRVUs.
  • Responsible for the review of Provider quarterly and annual bonus calculations.
  • Responsible for month end close journal entries relating to accruals and other financial information relating to provider compensation.

Physician Compensation

  • Assist with the roll out of new compensation model which includes testing of monthly compensation statements.
  • Participate in the design of revised compensation statements.

Physician Compensation

  • Assist with the monthly analysis of Provider Compensation expense.
  • Participate in the annual budget process.

Accounting and Other

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements and communicate analysis and salary changes to leaders.
  • Responsible for adjusting compensation on a regular basis consistent with contractual requirements.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving payments that are submitted for ad hoc services, such as Call, Directorships, etc.
  • Adhoc projects as needed.

Physician Compensation

  • Analyze the impact of annual changes to CMS wRVU tables impacting physician compensation and summarize major changes.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 5 years' experience in Accounting or Finance required, with a minimum of 2 years in healthcare
  • 2 years Physician Compensation experience highly preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet organizational and department deadlines
  • Familiarity with CPT codes, physician billing, and wRVU production reporting
  • Physician Compensation experience a must
  • Experience with presentation creation for final product delivery to senior management

Position Description The NA FSS BU Analyst is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics for the business unit expenses. This role would also be supporting standard management reporting across Business Units. This role will include responsibilities across: budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analyses in support of business unit Expense Department. The senior financial analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs. As a key financial liaison, the Sr Financial Analyst will partner with the various departments across the business unit. Key Responsibilities: * Drive Financial Reporting * Perform the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation and resolution of monthly variance * Prepare reporting baseline packages: Close report, CFO month end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules * Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes. * Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of key business stakeholders. * Drive Knowledge Transfers * Review and learn activities transferring to NASS FP&A function * Document standard procedure documentations during knowledge transfers * Drive standardized reporting across the business unit * Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses * Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and NA FSS * Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 4+ years of professional experience Critical Skills * 3-5 years of Finance experience required * Excellent knowledge of financial statements * Experience with generating management reports, SG&A budgeting, and capital planning * Moderate experience working with FP&A systems such as COPA, TM1 and BPC is preferred * Experience with PowerBI or Tableau preferred * SAP experience - Previous healthcare or Pharma experience (preferred) - MS Office 365 Additional Knowledge and Skills * Attention to detail and demonstration of quick follow-up to study needs, commits to quality * Ability to work with businesses across geographies * Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - this position interfaces with senior executives on a regular basis * Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and managerial skills * Advanced Excel, Proficient PowerPoint * Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience Physical Requirements General Office Demands Must be authorized to work in the US.
