Propio is rapidly growing and becoming a nationwide force, and we are looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This position will be responsible for effective, accurate, and efficient handling of all aspects of financial planning, along with building and maintaining sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Propio Language Services, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. You will leverage your skills in Power BI and SQL to create insightful sales commission reports, financial reports, dashboards, and analytics. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing financial forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support.
Essential Job Functions
Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will be supporting efforts to build a best-in-class FP&A function
Leveraging Power BI, build and manage the end-to-end sales commission calculation process, ACV closed, sale opportunities, implementation, fill rate, among others
Support total P&L efforts and build up during Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Long Range Plan
Lead Revenue and Commissions actuals reporting and forecasting
Work with Sales and Implementations team to drive an accurate revenue forecast
Prepare reports and analytics on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis that enable decision making by the business; highlight important takeaways in concise executive summaries
Perform ad-hoc reporting and financial analyses at multiple levels of complexity, including cost analysis, and financial and expense performance comparisons
Collect, organize, and analyze data sets to create meaningful analyses that drives insights
Streamline reporting packages and make recommendation for improvements
Serve as the subject matter expert on sales commission plans, policies and rationale
Ensure data integrity between systems involved in the commission payroll process - Salesforce, NetSuite and Power BI
Build sales compensation analytics and maintain monthly reporting for sales teams.
Support the implementation & documentation of new sales quotas and commission plans, leveraging key metrics to make recommendations for necessary changes to commission structures
Support the overall organization with value-add Power BI dashboards built to the specific needs
Lead collaborative sessions with various business groups to gather and document BI project requirements
Load and manage data collections within the Power BI data inventory to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility
Design and implement guidelines for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate data insights
Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations for both internal teams and external public stakeholders
Transform data received from various sources into formats that meet both business and technical specifications for end users
Document data sources, report specifications, and data transformation procedures
Train, coach and mentor junior staff Financial Analyst
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as: Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on PowerBI experience
Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred
Expert data visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau)
Demonstrated experience with enterprise data, especially ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP)
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)
Demonstrated ability to tackle problems across the full data stack, from data wrangling (leveraging SQL or other methodologies) to stakeholder consumption at scale
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in data analysis
