Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work in our Supplier Risk Management Finance area at our Headquarters and Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
What You'll Do
This position is responsible for:
Identification and mitigation of financially distressed suppliers to ensure uninterrupted vehicle production at FCA plants.
Working with Purchasing, Legal, Treasury and Supplier Risk Management Operations to aggressively manage distressed suppliers by managing cash advances/prepayments, facilitating payments to suppliers, and monitoring/managing supplier inventories and parts banks.
Protecting FCA's set-off rights to ensure recovery of advances, case expenses, and professional fees.
Reviewing accommodation agreements and legal documents for FCA obligations and liabilities.
Forecasting cash and income statement impact of required financial accommodations.
Ensuring all financial transactions comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), FCA internal control policies, and external audit requirements.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
8+ years of experience in finance or accounting
5+ years of experience in financial analysis
Self-motivated and self-directed
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Manage well under pressure and a strong ability to work within a team
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management
Exceptional computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to master FCA's proprietary applications
Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities with tight deadlines
MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA
Working knowledge of bankruptcy law, receiverships, trusts, and related legal terms
Risk mitigation experience
Experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase, or Hyperion HFM
Budgeting and forecasting experience
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Automotive or manufacturing experience
