What Are We Looking For?
Spring EQ is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded finance enthusiast to join our FP&A team. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for production of financial metrics for management, as well as performance tracking and business management reporting to senior management.
The Senior Analyst will help develop and leverage technology to identify and track KPIs, generate key reporting packages, cross-functional analysis and special strategic projects, he/she will support Spring EQs leadership team and senior management with ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and special projects to increase profitability and operational/sales production.
As the firm continually builds-out and refines its financial planning infrastructure, this individual will be key in recommending and driving efficient processes. The successful candidate will monitor performance and present results to sales and operational managers.
Company Metrics & Performance
Partner with key stakeholders to develop relevant metrics that measure company performance and success
Assist in the development of company metrics compared to the mortgage industry to provide data for analysis in senior managements strategic decision-making process
Support and enhance a company-wide quarterly, monthly and long-range forecasting process and the development of corporate targets
Build out dashboards and scalable reports to track KPIs and summarize Spring EQs financial condition highlighting key trends and variances
Support the implementation of strategic business initiatives that improve productivity and increase profitability
Participate in cross-functional work to evaluate strategic initiatives and their associated financial impact and assist with incorporating them into financial plans
Ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects determined by the needs of executive team
Develop a process to implement and maintain weekly and monthly sales performance reports through managing data from multiple sources.
Create reports and communicate results to large audiences
What is Important to Us?
Bachelors degree required, finance, accounting, mathematics or economics preferred
3+ years of experience in FP&A, Operational reporting, investment banking or corporate finance
Strong user of technology solutions, knowledge of SQL and Tableau is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical skills
Relevant work experience in finance or strategy roles, preferably in Mortgage or Retail Banking
Good interpersonal skills, experienced with managing relationships at all levels
A team-oriented and collaborative demeanor
Able to meet deadlines under pressure
Positive attitude, proactive, change promoter
