Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is a valued member of the Shoals Technologies Group Finance team. The role requires a proven finance professional focused on driving short- and long-term business profitability, developing and maintaining key business models that support Shoals' growth, and evaluating business opportunities, including M&A, for their fit with Shoals. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain driver-based financial models to support decision making and short/long-term planning.

• Support core corporate FP&A activities such as monthly forecasting, preparation of business review presentations, ad-hoc business modeling, development and tracking of key performance indicators, and performing routine variance analyses.

• Create and update monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations used to communicate financial insights to the senior leadership, C-suite, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, marketing, human resources, and engineering to promote achievement of company's strategic initiatives and drive profitability.

• Supports and/or leads highly visible special projects that enhance productivity, drive additional profitability, and that support significant investment opportunities.

• Maintain and reforecast Shoals' enterprise valuation model using DCF valuation approach.

• Assist in leading development of Shoals' Annual Operating Plan and Capital Plan.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of 3-5 years of experience in finance, private equity, accounting, or related analytical experience.

• Strong analytical skills with experience developing and maintaining long-range models (DCF/Valuation models) and evaluating M&A opportunities is preferred.

• Experience and comfortability with providing decision support to Senior Leadership and C-Suite.

• Creator using BI visualization tools to collect and present information, specifically Tableau and Power BI.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker & problem-solver with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth and profitability.

• Demonstrated ability to self-pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously, accurately prioritizing and executing relevant tasks.

• Proficient with standard suite of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and an advanced Excel user.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
