As a key member of the FP A organization, the person in this role will partner with varying constituents across the organization to develop Budgets, Forecasts, Reporting, Analyses, Metrics, Financial Models and Processes to drive financial transparency. The Senior Financial Analyst will draw heavily on their financial modeling and system skills to provide financial insights to help drive financial decision making that yields maximum, long term value for the business.

Contribute to the Operating Plan, Budget and Monthly forecast processes in key functions of the business, including the aggregation of necessary data, development of supporting models, coordination with Business Leaders to determine assumptions, and completion of key metrics, reporting and benchmarks. Support core processes regarding monthly results and quarterly earnings. Analyze financial and operational data; develop and deliver reports to business segments. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and special projects.

A track record of good judgment and decision-making in positions with significant responsibility Highly autonomous and able to independently identify high value projects and drive them to completion Demonstrated leadership capability in cross-functional team environments High degree of comfort with complex technical environments Improvements to key systems. Skills, Experiences, and Characteristics: 3-5 years of progressive experience in a corporate Finance role for a global public company. Technology industry experience is preferred. BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer focus with the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships. Proven accomplishments in process improvement and financial systems implementation. Strong ability to breakdown and understand financial results, and effectively handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Exceptional computer skills with a range of relevant financial software packages and expert excel skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including proven ability to work comfortably with senior executives. High degree of initiative and results-oriented. Eager to adapt to and drive change.

The Analyst prepares presentations for senior leadership which may include JetBlue finance partners. They participate in monthly, quarterly and annual variance reviews and in long term financial management, strategic initiatives and competitive analysis. The Analyst also assists with various ad hoc analyses as necessary communicating and educating department leaders on finance trends within the travel products industry. Essential Responsibilities: * Recognizes, analyzes and models various trends within the business and travel products industry. * Assists leaders in proper financial analysis, collaboration and good thinking to provide strategic guidance and sound business decisions. * Assists in creating and maintaining department budgets. * Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for senior leadership team. * Assists Head of Finance with executive and Board level presentations and communications which includes education for department leaders. * Identifies and recommends cost savings initiatives. * Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses as assigned. * Builds and fosters relationships among JBTP departments including JetBlue partners. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Experience and Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. * One (1) years finance and/or analytical experience. * Extensive experience with Excel and PowerPoint. * Proficient with Word and other Microsoft Office Products. * Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills. * Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test. * Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Crewmember Expectations: * Regular attendance and punctuality. * Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. * Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance. * When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. * Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion.
