The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include:

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

  • Provide financial budgeting, analysis, and compliance reports and services

  • Prepare cost projections

  • Monitor the accuracy of reporting systems

  • Interface with supporting services including Auxiliary Operations, Information Technology, and Facilities/Plant Operations

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits

  • Prepare cost projections

  • Analyze and report the financial status

  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data

  • Use the complete financial systems to generate reports, data manipulation, imports, and exports.

  • Develop complex reports and share them with Finance and operation teams.

  • Assist with the implementation of new administrative systems to serve the entire organization.

  • Conduct cost oversight for special projects.

  • Serve on appropriate organization committees, as assigned

  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities

  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning

  • Analyze forecasted and actual results and identify areas of improvement

  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)

  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions


  • Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role minimum 5 years

  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software

  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)

  • Familiarity with finance databases

  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)

  • Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills

  • Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive financial information

  • Alignment with the mission and vision of the company

  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor in all situations

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with teams

  • Ability to think creatively and to solve complicated financial issues

  • Punctual and reliable attendance

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus

This position reports to the CFO and will travel nationally up to 25% of the time for financial meetings, training, and systems implementation.

This position is primarily Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and additional hours as required by organizational needs. Work weeks will range between 40-50 hours, occasionally requiring 55 hours or more per week.

Establishes long-term and short-term financial plans; budgets and forecasts; consolidating detailed financial budgets and quarterly forecasts for cost centers, business units and/or strategic business units; reporting and analyzing business performance; performing system maintenance for the business performance reporting systems; performing and/or supporting cost center, business unit and/or strategic business unit project evaluation, performing and/or supporting cost center and/or business unit activity based management.
