Premise is growing! We're hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in our San Francisco, CA office. You will be a key contributor to the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. This position provides financial reporting and analytical support by partnering with stakeholders across the business. You will have an opportunity to shape and drive integral reporting and financial processes to further accelerate our growth. The right candidate has a passion for breaking down complex business problems into discrete analyses and using data to help make informed business decisions. As a central member of the team, you will provide financial visibility to leadership to make better operational decisions.

What you get to do:

Drive complex financial modeling development, enhancement and maintenance
Monitor key financial metrics and business drivers; analyze budget/forecast variances to actual and review with management team
Preparation and analysis of monthly bookings analytics
Translate high-level business problems into more specific questions that can be answered through data analyses; leverage analytical findings to identify actionable business recommendations
Develop reporting metrics and present data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive financial and operational strategy
Prepare and monitor the company's long range strategic planning models
Establish processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial planning activities and proactively seek opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide ad hoc business-related analysis
Support the annual budget process and the periodic reforecast exercises
Develop key metric and insight reports that provide senior leadership with insights regarding financial issues that might affect operations and growth

Your background likely includes:

BS/BA (Accounting or Finance major preferred) with 4-7 years of financial analysis experience in a high-growth environment
Analytical background working directly in an FP&A, investment banking or consulting environment; experience with modeling bookings, revenue, costs and expenses
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and schedules to identify trends
Excellent researching and problem-solving skills
Strong Excel skills are a requirement
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership

Bonus Points:

CPA or MBA
Experience with NetSuite; forecasting and planning software
