How you will make an impact:
The Clinical Trials Division within Thermo Fisher Scientific's Pharma Services Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Center Valley, PA.
What you will do:
Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, and support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting and budgeting process (i.e., support MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.)
Build and update dashboards, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence tools by data mining in various systems
Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and system support to improve data quality
Translate business inputs into financial assumptions, build and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, results, etc.
Collaborate with business partners to generate key assumptions and drivers for decision support, independently conduct ad hoc data analysis to identify business insights and observations
Proactively learn and embrace new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy

Prior experience within commercial FP&A
Strong financial acuity, including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
Data management experience and the ability to manage large sets of data and accurate reports
Highly analytical and possess a strong business sense
Organized multitasker: you prioritize your workload, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment,
Strong team building skills working with a diverse group of people, even if geographically dispersed
Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate analysis and recommendations in concise informative manner
Able to deliver high quality effective presentation to communicate complex topics
Proficient user of systems (i.e., SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done

Travel requirements
The salary range estimated for this position is $110,000-$120,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
