The Senior Financial Analyst for the Outback Finance team is a highly visible and impactful role in the organization helping to analyze, communicate, predict and drive business results. This individual will support the operations, product marketing and supply chain functions for the Outback concept and will be responsible for financial management and business support for the entire Outback organization.
Key responsibilities include supporting new product development, menu innovation and pricing decisions. The Analyst will engage with cross-functional groups across the Outback team to develop, report, and analyze information regarding Outback's financial performance. This is a highly visible role that requires superior critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a high attention to detail.
Execute timely and accurate reporting, forecasting and performance analysis for the operations, marketing and supply chain teams within the Outback business.
Actively analyze product mix and pricing trends to determine root cause for variances, while highlighting risks and opportunities in the current business plan
Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
Provide daily & weekly updates to Outback leadership team and BBI executive team on business performance verse expectation
Support finance director and CFO on key projects and ad hoc analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, required
MBA a plus
3+ years of progressive financial analysis, required
Retail industry experience, preferred
Must be innovative, independent and responsive to changing business needs
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
