Senior Financial Analyst

About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our billing processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The Billing Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze billing processes, and implement solutions to enhance overall billing performance. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule in one of our following offices: Omaha, NE, Berwyn, PA, Sacramento, CA, Hebron, KY, Chandler, AZ, Provo, UT, or Idaho Falls, ID.

In this role, you'll get to:

• Evaluate and analyze existing billing processes to identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements related to billing

• Assess billing systems and recommend modifications or enhancements for increased efficiency

• Work closely with product teams to implement system changes and updates

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to ensure accuracy in billing information

• Identify discrepancies in billing data to maintain data integrity

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing procedures and processes

• Generate regular reports on billing performance and provide insights for decision-making

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and customer support, to address billing-related issues

• Communicate with external vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies

• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to billing

• Ensure billing practices align with legal and regulatory requirements

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in billing operations

• Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance billing knowledge and compliance

We're looking for talent with:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Billing Business Analyst or similar role

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems

• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards.

• Experience with billing in a subscription-based or recurring revenue model

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools

• Obtain Orion Industry Certification

• Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$61,147.00 - $91,054.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
