Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst Finance, Operations provides financial and analytical support to the Shiseido Americas Operations and Finance Teams to deliver annual objectives, drive inventory management, ensure corporate policies and financial controls are followed.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance processes and reporting to reduce and prevent excess and obsolete inventory

  • Responsible for Excess and Obsolete Calculation

  • Finance leader for Material Destruction Process (MDR)

  • Provide monthly reporting for inventory, inventory reserves, KPIs, and Operations departmental expenses

  • Responsible for developing annual budget and forecasts for Americas transportation spending

  • Develop and provide financial analyses, reporting and tools to support delivery of monthly and annual objectives for Shiseido Americas Operations, Finance and Brand teams

  • Support VP Supply Chain Finance to ensure Supply Chain team is following Shiseido corporate policies and financial controls

  • Develop ad hoc analyses for EVP Operations, Operations Leadership team and VP Finance Operations

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:

  • Inventory Control and Americas Region Accounting

  • S&OP, Commercial Logistics, Americas Distribution Center (ADC)

  • External Operations and East Windsor Plant Finance

  • Commercial, Brand Holder and Region Finance Teams

Qualifications & Competencies: (List required or desired education; competencies; experiences; soft & hard skills)

  • BA/BS degree in finance, business or related discipline

  • 3-5 years related experience, CPG or manufacturing company preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities

  • Experience in driving financial controls and governance

  • Able to demonstrate strong skills in Excel, Power Point,

  • SAP experience a plus

VIEW JOBS 3/26/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-24T00:00 The Vice President, IT Infrastructure & Operations is responsible for both the long-term strategies and day-to-day activities related to infrastructure, data center, cloud operations, security, end-user services, field/retail support and overall service management. This role will collaborate with IT, senior leaders and 3rd party vendors to deliver platforms that provide availability, capacity, security and performance to the enterprise and keep pace with business demands. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * Lead and prioritize IT initiatives and coordinate the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future systems as well as associated operational functions. * Accountable for all production systems and environments, including responsibility for the overall enterprise-wide effectiveness and efficiency of data center (on premise and cloud) technology systems and networks and in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and reliability. * Ensure infrastructure expectations are met in support of application development initiatives. * Define and document processes for deployments and system-level changes. * Deliver innovative solutions that meet company and market needs with respect to availability, functionality, performance, reliability, repeatability, scalability, and speed to market. * Participate in the review and consolidation of IT business plans, annual budgets (CapEx/OpEx) and forecasts. Responsible for managing to or exceeding operating and capital budget targets. * Manage policies and procedures regarding how incidents are identified, received, documented, distributed, and resolved. * Ensure security standards are defined and adhered to across the organization. * Regularly review IT costs and cost structures for IT services and products. Proactively manage renewals and optimize portfolio. * Manage regional staff to include recruitment, scheduling, training, yearly evaluation, organizational design and disciplinary actions. * Participate in setting and achieving IT's vision and strategic imperatives. * Manage and negotiate contracts related to service and IT needs, including hardware, bandwidth, co-location facilities, and third party software vendors. * Ensure staff is sufficiently skilled and experienced to perform their tasks through continual assessment of performance and taking action to coach, correct or improve where required. * Lead Operations staff to ensure deadlines, risks, constraints, resources, tasks, priorities and interfaces are understood and communicated. * Manage multiple teams and multiple concurrent complex projects. * Provide leadership in project management related to the relevant business area and provide regular and timely updates for IT related projects. * Direct all facility and move related activities from an IT perspective. * Develop proactive operating estimates and long range forecasts for business planning purposes involving software, hardware, staffing levels, service levels, and expenditures for area(s) of responsibility. * Partner with key business clients, functional groups and development team to deliver against product and service goals and business requirements. * Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance. * Ensure team processes adhere to all ITGC standards and controls and participate in audit processes. * Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans meet acceptable business risk levels. * Understand operational model for each cloud provider including provisioning, de-provisioning, scaling, billing, all optional services. Own the provisioning life cycle for each cloud provider. * Assess regional domain needs on projects and systems and recommend architectural solutions matching company strategies and architectural principles. This effort leads to a unified architectural solution which is efficient in cost, low in complexity, and provides a stable platform from which IT can support the company's strategy both in the near term and future state. * Conduct and lead domain design of stable, extensible architectures working with teams across the business units. Positively influence a project's decisions and focus to ensure that it aligns with architectural principles and standards. Map architectural solutions to business objectives to ensure alignment. * Perform necessary planning to ensure environments or solutions are adequately scalable for anticipated growth and availability. Set standards and performance metrics for the architectural domain and report on them regularly. * Develop partnerships/relationships with key IT business partners, operations, and vendors. Act as a sounding board as well as IT consultant to business leaders to develop IT solutions. * Ensure that service desk team has the information readily available via knowledge base for efficient incident resolution. * Develop business architecture framework, solutions and standards and functional tools for building stable, cost-effective, shared technology solutions. * Analyzes incident criticality. Acts as incident manager, provides guidance and coaching and/or handles escalated issues to ensure timely mitigation of impact. * Ensure that major incidents are properly identified and swiftly escalated to appropriate teams and other initiatives, projects and duties as assigned. * Reviews and approves notices regarding an incident ensuring message is accurate and complete. * Appropriately allocates resources to cover all support needs, including off-business hour * Other duties as assigned.
