UHG Corporate Services is looking for a motivated financial analyst to be part of our FP&A team. The person in this role will work closely with Corporate Services colleagues and others across the enterprise to drive solid financial results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all FP&A objectives - month-end, forecast, CRM, etc. - for the UHG administrative real estate portfolio covering 18M square feet and 500 locations

  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate results to department and organization leaders

  • Participate in month-end close process by analyzing actual expense versus budget/forecast and preparing journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial results

  • Demonstrate best practice FP&A and independently prepare forecasts during major forecasting cycles

  • Create, maintain and record shared service allocations

  • Provide customer service to Optum, UHC, and UHG Corporate finance and business teams for real estate decisions and P&L research

  • Develop and monitor unit costs to facilitate shared service allocations and real estate decisions

  • Participate in M&A project specific to real estate finance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 1 years of professional accounting or finance experience in a medium-to-large corporate environment

  • Previous financial planning/forecasting & analysis and month-end accounting processes

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Peoplesoft & Hyperion Essbase/SmartView experience

  • Shared service finance

  • Real Estate finance & accounting support

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and research
