General Summary of Position:

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for the analysis, reporting, and communication of financial and operations information under the direction of the Financial Systems Manager. He/She maintains documentation of information from, among other systems, the Budget System, the capital system, productivity systems, and the ERP system and related sources. He/she will provide support and direction to associates both within and outside the Finance department on all matters pertaining to the information in the systems above. This position will be responsible for ensuring the reconciliation and accuracy of the historical information as it relates to all systems. This individual will utilize spreadsheets, databases, presentations, the internet and other sources to analyze and present compelling cases for change to carry out the mission of the organization. He/She will collaborate with associates to develop and monitor cost standards and to achieve standardization both within the hospital and throughout Medstar as appropriate. He/She will gain an understanding of Medstar's decision support tools and collaborate with the Manager, Financial Systems to utilize this information in order to make it actionable from an operations perspective. All of these functions are coordinated with the AVP, Finance and as applicable Hospital Administration, Department Heads, Medical Staff and others. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Health CareAdministration.

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of three to five years experience in Healthcare Finance with experience in decision support/cost accounting or budgeting systems.

  • Clinical background a plus.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, time management andorganizational skills are essential.

  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheet,database, word processing, graphics and statistical software.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little guidance and professional approach towork including a strong sense of responsibility for assigned duties.

Individual will manage, coordinate, provide support and advise NCCIC leadership on cyber operational issues. This will include performing pre-event action planning/coordination/preparation, support during cyber events, and post-event activities and follow-up. Individual will provide internal/external support for a variety of meetings/conference calls. The candidate will require very good written and briefing skills to appropriately communicate with NCCIC leadership and individual NCCIC managers. The individual will assist the NCCIC leadership to integrate information related to the cybersecurity mission/policy area; assist in developing recommendations and operational synchronization within the NCCIC and with external partners. Individual will provide assistance with current and future policies, strategies and operations; perform research and analysis of national policy; and provide recommendations on methods to enhance the coordination and de-confliction of cybersecurity operations consistent with their requirements. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of challenges and develops solutions thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives. The Senior Principal Cyber Policy - Operational Analyst position will be located in Arlington, VA. Position Description: * Participate as a member of a small team conducting cyber-related research, analysis and coordination activities to support customer goals and objectives as part of a larger US Government cybersecurity strategy and policy efforts at multiple classification levels. * Assist and coordinate the execution of internal NCCIC processes and procedures in coordination with NCCIC branches to support incident driven activities. * Develop cyber strategy and policy documents to support US Government operational execution of cybersecurity programs, to include interaction with foreign government, private sector and public interface. * Develop briefings and talking points for senior government leadership participation in internal and external events, often on short notice. * Lead cyber strategy, policy development and policy implementation projects that include development of work breakdown structures, timelines, staff selection and Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for projects. * Contribute to government, critical infrastructure/key resources and public-private cyber policy development and coordination, to include development of CONOPS, operational requirements, capabilities and competencies. * Develop, implement and communicate Information Technology (IT) security policy, standards, best practices, guidance and procedures. * Develop IT security related policy briefings, presentations and white papers for distribution to diverse user community. * Perform complex analysis of cyber, intelligence and law enforcement/counterintelligence policy and governance issues. * Monitor cybersecurity-focused legislation efforts and provide regular analysis to the customer on legislation advancements pertinent to the DHS mission. * Identify gaps and conflicts in cybersecurity policy and governance guidance and make recommendations to address these areas. * Coordinate plans, policy and governance documents employing customer defined staffing processes. * Provide support for policy and operational risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security testing. * Work with a diverse professional staff, including security engineers and architects, privacy, policy, and risk analysts, mission assurance and IT/cybersecurity professionals to ensure security and privacy requirements are incorporated throughout the policy development life-cycle. Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with a minimum of 10 years related technical experience * Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
