Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst- Manfacturing/Supply Chain position is responsible for providing financial insight and support for Manufacturing and Supply Chain. This advanced financial analysis role is responsible for partnering with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to drive improvements and profitability for the business. This role will also be key within the team to drive continuous improvement, reporting and analytics initiatives that will enable predictive analytics to drive better decision making for the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop reporting and analytics capabilities. Partners with manufacturing and supply chain to drive better decision making and drive overall results.

    Supports budgeting and financial planning to align business strategy with proper investment to fund activities that drive the business. Leads monthly closing process for functional areas of responsibility. Produces in-depth analyses for review by management with recommendations and enhanced insight that will influence overall business decision making.

    Educates the team on financial processes and identifies areas for process improvement. Ensures processes and procedures are followed by groups supported. Responsible for integrating resources effectively and anticipating conflicting needs with pro-active solutions.

    Operates as part of a larger team and in managing own work. Maintains strong interactive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying and responding effectively.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related technical discipline. 5+ years of progressive work experience in Finance. Expert level in Microsoft suite of products including Excel and Power point

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA Degree and /or professional certification (eg. CPA). Proficiency with SAP and BI/BW

Position Summary This position consists of overseeing and optimizing the inventory planning and procurement cost across the GCR commercial dealer network. This includes, but is not limited to, the acquisition of both tire and parts inventory, ensuring appropriate sku stocking levels at the stores, and managing the efficient and effective delivery of merchandise to these locations. Responsibilities Principal Accountabilities and Duties:Development/Analysis/ Continuous Improvement:-Manage assembling large sums of data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support business objectives-Analyze the movement of goods through the supply pipeline, monitor current practices, identify and analyze gaps, and develop process improvements that will result in increased cash flows and customer satisfaction and decreased operating costs-Utilize analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes Inventory Management:-Analyze store and establish stocking levels in line with capacity and market conditions.-Generate by sku by store order recommendations with fields input-Manage initial inventory fill for new stores and inventory disposition for closures-Develop and implement plans to minimize slow moving and discontinued inventory Marketing and Development Activities:-Establish critical path for new product introduction and phase out of existing products-Monitor and take corrective action when necessary to ensure that key duties on critical path are met Distribution Resource Planning:-Plan and direct the deployment of tires and related products consistent with marketing requirements and sound inventory control-Establish policies and procedures to ensure high velocity inventory turns Other: -Special projects as needed-Communication with Stores/Market Managers/Region Manager as needed is critical-Strong Excel & Analytical skills a plus-Retail business experience is a plus Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years in inventory control, logistics, store management or business analysis OR Bachelors in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Technical Discipline Bridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
