Senior Financial Analyst

As Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist the Regional Sales Grocery Team supporting the entire Finance Team in the day-to-day delivery of company objectives. While you are at it, you will be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development. We are looking for top talent in the Chicago, IL area and potentially select remote locations.

Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with creative and innovative finance and sales professionals to support achievement of company goals. Understanding the future impact of today's choices is a key component of success in this role. You will play a key role in ensuring visibility into financial opportunities, integrity of our financial statements, and viable financial solutions for our in-market investment and execution.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

• Reporting & Analysis

• Your financial acumen will drive our future with confidence. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, explaining our business, and identifying solutions to gaps. You'll also support delivering financial targets through special project work.

• Planning & Forecasting

• Support the planning and forecast processes ensuring accurate and timely forecast are submitted.

• Business Partnering

• Partner closely with Finance, Sales Planning and Sales to provide financial visibility and analysis. Influence decisions and provide a financial and business lens for the prioritization of investments.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor's Degree in a Finance/Business related field and/or significant related work experience.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

• Attention to detail and strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

• Practical experience understanding the link between business issues and P&L/cash flow.

• Pivots and large data manipulation ability.

• Experience with SAP-specific financial planning systems is preferred.

• CPG Experience with proficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other financial planning systems is a plus.
