We are looking for a responsible and very organized, methodical and diligent person to support our entrepreneurial CEO in his different ventures/investments in a timely and professional manner. You will provide high-quality analytical, financial, administrative, and clerical assistance as well as serve the bookkeeping/accounting needs of some investments, trusts and other corporations.

This senior business analyst job will also require you to perform the duties of an executive assistant to the CEO. The following are the job

Responsibilities:
  • Enhances executive's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others.
  • Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investments.
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements/reports in accordance with IFRS and/or internal policies/directives.
  • Develop and support the creation of budgets and forecasts and ensure monitoring and follow up on a continuous basis.
  • Produces information by analyzing, transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Manage specific projects as directed by the business.
  • Assist in development of financial models that will provide business managers the tools to improve customer, product and decision-making opportunities
  • Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive.
  • Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Keeps information confidential.
  • Completes projects by assigning work to others; following up on results.
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Enters transactions and does general bookkeeping.
  • Translates documents from English to Spanish and vice-versa.
  • Helps CEO with personal matters enabling him to be more efficient.

Requirements

  • This position requires a bachelors degree in a business-related field. Finance degree (or equivalent). "Certified Accountant & Controller" or "Certified Public Accountant" is an advantage as well as Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
  • Experience level required is minimum 3 years in similar positions, working closely with upper management.
  • The position requires:
    • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (need to be able to write business reports / emails in both languages)
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Organization skills - you will have to follow-up on many different issues and not let things fall through the cracks.
    • Initiative Must work independently and be self-motivated with a commensurate sense of urgency at various simultaneous tasks. looking for people with drive.
    • Confidentiality - maintaining the highest security level for confidential information
    • Flexibility May need to travel internationally for a couple of days.
    • Teamwork work with all levels throughout the company
    • Attention to detail with the ability to effectively self check
    • Ability to work under demanding deadlines and take accountability for completeness and timely delivery
    • Extensive Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and Quickbooks.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

VIEW JOBS 11/12/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-10T00:00 Overview The Mandate Retail Service Lead Merchandiser is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively leading and performing reset and remodel work including, but not limited to, the proper implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team or independent situation. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners. Responsibilities * Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset and remodel work. Effectively partner with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of reset and remodel work. * Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset and remodel work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology. * Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags properly, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing packouts, restocks and reorders as necessary. * Assist in gathering and moving materials, supplies, fixtures and equipment necessary for the assigned reset and remodel work. * Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship. * Report and discuss observations and issues with Mandate Senior Area Manager/Mandate Area Manager. * Effectively and accurately work with web based applications to indicate work availability, check schedule for work assignments, accept work assignments, receive work documentation and information, record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, and complete training activities. * Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work. * Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures. Qualifications * At least 2 years of Customer Service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred. * Strong demonstration of the following core competencies: Quality Commitment-Maintain quality standards that meet and/or exceed expectations Detail Oriented- Ensure work accuracy Customer Service-Provide a level of service to customer concerns Communication Skills-Ability to communicate effectively * Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices) * Must be able to lift and carry individual cases of product, shelving, or displays of up to 60 pounds. * Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time. * Must be able to operate or learn how to operate a computer, calculator, fax machine, telephone, paper cutter, copier, hammer, screwdriver, drill, case cutter, hand truck, and pallet jack. Must be able to climb and stand on a step stool or ladder. * Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision making and leadership skills. Must be able to read and communicate effectively with others. * Must have access to the internet on a daily basis. Must be able to work effectively in web based applications, email applications, and word processing applications. * Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive in a car for extended periods of time.
