Provides analytical and consultative support to key departmental management. Financial or Public Auditing experience for construction.
Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information.
Provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
Assists with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
Consults with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Performs special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.

Department Specific Job Duties:
Review and analyze construction contracts and associated invoices to verify that invoices are billed according to the terms of the contract.
Analyze contractor & sub-contractor source documentation to determine if the invoices are appropriately billed and are in compliance with the contractual agreement. Monitor and analyze contractor/vendor payroll documentation, HR records, review wage and benefit source documentation based on staff determination of proper work classifications.
Analyze financial impact of non-compliance and track status of non-compliant issues as they are worked to resolution.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of the issues identified.
Develop strong working relationships with Construction Owner's Representatives to facilitate communication and resolution of issues identified during the invoice review.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Business or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Advance skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Minimum of four years finance, revenue cycle management or general analytical experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
Master's degree may offset some required experience.
Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills, decisive judgment and the ability to lead projects and people.
Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
Preferred experience: Seeking candidates who have a minimum of 4 years internal audit/accounting/analytical experience, preferably in a construction environment.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer.
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds.
May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting.
Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
