Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid - 3 Days In Office)

The I&CM Business Technology Office (BTO) is Freddie Mac's Investments and Capital Markets technology department, embedded directly in the business - right on the trading floor. As a member of our Business Management team, you'll help make financially sound decisions about ongoing investments in proprietary and commercial technologies.

Our Impact:

Our team governs more than $160 million ICM BTO Technology expense management and delivers data insights for senior management supporting annual planning, monthly forecast models, expense variance analysis and staff hiring.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will bring your budget management expertise to the I&CM BTO Business Management team, and you will support:

Planning and Reporting:

• Technology financial planning, including forecasting and variance analysis, across the multiple technology funding blocks

• Analyze monthly labor and non-labor (infrastructure, software, and cloud cost)

• Management reporting

• Analyze financial data discrepancies and remediate the issues

Staffing Cost and Risk

• Tracking staffing levels and hiring metrics

• Analysis of budget risk

Qualifications:

• 5+ years financial analysis, business management and/or data analytics

• Experience in Budget preparation and forecasting

• Advanced level skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of Hyperion (SmartView), Tableau or PowerBI, and Workday

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $101,000 - $151,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
