Hulu's Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our Digital Advertising Finance team. As an SFA, you will be a critical part of Hulu's rising Advertising business by providing financial insights to improve top- and bottom-line, getting comprehensive exposure to the full PandL. You will find career growth in both Finance and Digital Advertising industries.   • You will lead and improve reporting packages to reflect performance of Hulu's Advertising business, utilize internal financial systems to further optimize process and surface up business insights to help inform strategic conversations

  • Digest and enhance financial models used to budget/forecast during monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting cycles, scope including: advertising revenue, licensing cost, overhead and headcount related analysis

  • Partner with Sales organization to identify and analyze opportunities and risks to P/L goals; help lead overhead operations by collaborating with budget holders

  • Steward data-driven decision making in conjunction with varying partners across the company (Data Analytics, Product, Engineering, Business Development, etc.) to optimize revenue and profit with the viewer experience in mind

  • Lead ad hoc projects on an on-going basis and present to business partners. Project examples include partnership deal valuation, PandL for investment cases, headcount planning, etc.


  • 3+ years of experience in Finance; Media, Technology and Advertising background is a plus

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics or similar quantitative discipline

  • Goal-oriented and client-facing mindset; entrepreneurial spirit to continue innovating and adding value; proactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners internally and externally

  • Strong work ethic; high sense of urgency; ability to learn and deliver results in tight timeline

  • Experience with partnering with stakeholders across the organization and drive projects forward

  • Experience with financial ERP systems, large data sets and sophisticated models, proven proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint presentations and deck creation

  • Basic SQL/Tableau experience is a plus

Blizzard Entertainment has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst at its Irvine, California headquarters. You will assist with the company's forecast and annual budgeting processes. In addition, this person will provide financial strategic support to management including preparing financial presentations, financial analysis, and other projects requested by management. Responsibilities * Prepare and analyze monthly financial and operating reports including, but not limited to, monthly operating statements, forecasts, monthly variance analysis, and budget data. * Perform month/quarter/annual close activities which include analyzing accounts, making journal entries, performing account reconciliations, preparing reports and financial statements, and resolving issues as needed * You will participate in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, cost trackers, and long-range plans. * Assist in the development and production of monthly dashboard reports, providing regular updates on YTD, QTD, and MTD performance to management. * Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. * You will help streamline procedures and improve system efficiencies. * Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance. * You will support the management team and department heads with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed. * Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for management. * Additional departmental duties as needed and assigned, of which the above are representative. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related areas * 3+ years accounting & finance experience, preferably at a publicly traded company * The highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment * Excellent interpersonal skills at coordinating and consolidating inputs across multiple functions * Validated ability to roll up sleeves and work in a hands-on capacity * Teammate capable of communicating and collaborating across global and cross-functional partners * Knowledge of general accounting and financial planning * Able to vary work hours as needed to collaborate with global teammates * Able to work independently, with limited direction * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Pluses * Experience with Hyperion and Essbase * Experience in video game, software, or entertainment industries * Real passion for video games, especially Blizzard Entertainment products and MMORPGs Blizzard Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
