Senior Financial Analyst, HPA
The Corporate Financial Headcount Planning and Analysis team is seeking an ambitious, strategic and analytical professional. This individual will play an integral role in financial reporting and analysis of the Company's overall workforce spend. This individual will interact with key financial personnel throughout the Company. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives.
Handle highly sensitive data with the utmost discretion and confidentiality
Full accountability to ensure accurate detailed financial forecasts associated with workforce spend for assigned department headcount budgets.
Liaise with respective divisional finance, operating and HR leaders to develop accurate and communicate budget availability and updates.
Prepare and review monthly compensation, benefits and headcount reporting packages
Reconciliation of headcount budgets against financial general ledger and P&L
Deep dive analysis to derive meaningful insights of the company's workforce spend
Analyze costs and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans
Participate in month-end close including preparing journal entries
Assist with the testing and implementation of headcount automation efforts
Prepare PowerPoint presentations showing variances among estimates and quarterly results
Create analysis for job incentives programs and other expense related requests
Ad-hoc analysis and requests.
Candidate should have 3 years of relevant financial reporting experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA a plus
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Think-Cell and Excel required
Hyperion / Oracle PBCS experience strongly preferred. Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Smart View, Hyperion Financial Reporting (FR), Oracle Hyperion Financial Data a plus
Strong technical skills regarding data analysis and financial modeling required
Financial compensation and benefits forecasting experience a plus
Effective written and verbal communication skills including interaction with senior and executive management required
Fluency in Spanish and English
Media industry experience a plus
Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently
Exceptional management skills, with ability to meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
