Senior Financial Analyst, Global Product Development

Job Description

As part of the FP&A function within the Centers of Excellence (CoE) finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will act as a primary finance business partner to our Global Product Development & Innovation (GPD&I) organization. This role will engage in various aspects of financial modeling, business case development, three-year strategic plans, and operational analysis that enable strategic product decisions at both the portfolio and project level. This role will serve as a key source of financial information for senior corporate management.

Position location: This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main office located in North Olmsted, OH to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Partner with GPD&I teams (Product Development Strategy, Innovation) to provide strategic financial support in assessing the most impactful product development opportunities

• Provide business decision support by modeling various investment scenarios and evaluating the financial impact of each scenario through discounted cash flow analysis

• Assist with total business case development for each project, including market data & trends analysis, price/volume/mix analysis, revenue and profit walks, BOM validation and other KPIs as deemed necessary

• Establish a common financial model across all business units to drive efficiencies in the financial modeling processes that are used to make strategic portfolio decisions

• Draw insights from actual results and support substance-wise development of long-term start plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support executive level presentations
