Who we're looking for
Toyota Financial Services is looking for a responsible and dedicated Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role supports the TFS Finance organization in the planning and reporting of consolidated financial results. The role is responsible for generating enterprise-wide income statement and balance sheet projections for quarterly forecasts and annual plan, validating data inputs from FP&A teams, and preparing deliverables for TFSC.
The role also produces monthly management reports describing actual results vs. expectations and manages the reporting of all key performance indicators to TFSC. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that leadership is informed of the financial performance of the company. The role will partner closely with FP&A, Data & Analytics (DnA), Accounting, Japan staff, and TFSC.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate with multiple FP&A groups to create consolidated income statement and balance sheet projections for all lines of business
Support the planning process by inputting key assumptions (both actual and forecast) to Hyperion Planning system
Validate key inputs for reasonableness, challenge assumptions made by other FP&A teams, and support FP&A Consultant in reconciliation processes
Facilitate responses to questions received from TFSC or executives regarding financial outlook and key drivers
Participate in user testing for planning system enhancements
Prepare monthly flash report of actual results vs. expectations and complete variance analysis for drivers that exceed threshold
Update monthly financial performance dashboard
Manage monthly KPI reporting process to TFSC including setting deadlines for business partners, prepping support schedules, and consolidating data submission
Develop capabilities to expand on segmented reporting and planning
Update all historical performance tracking reports to include latest full-year actuals and forecast
Provide support to Japan staff for ad hoc reporting requests
Assist other FP&A team members as necessary
Qualifications/ What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated, progressive finance and business experience
Demonstrated experience utilizing an enterprise reporting or planning application including but not limited to Hyperion Planning, HFM, SAP, etc.
Ability to pull data based on pre-defined measures.
Demonstrated experience with setting up financial processes to produce data outputs such as financial reports, income statements, balance sheet projections, presentations, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills including but not limited to verbal & written communication, ability to analyze and connect data points, and ability to collaborate with other team members & departments.
Added bonus if you have
Higher level degree such as an MBA.
Certification such as CPA.
Financial services industry experience
Previous experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
