The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) department is responsible for assisting the President and CFO with measuring financial results, monitoring performance through routine business cycles, analyzing outcomes, advising on suggested areas of improvement and preparing Executive level presentations. The position supports any and all aspects of FP&A and is a highly visible and challenging role that will work under tight deadlines to support the needs of the business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The critical areas of focus will be centered around the monthly close and estimate processes, including:

Education and Experience Profile

MS Office - Advanced skills in Excel, proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Ability to learn and utilize new systems for streamlined financial reporting
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team oriented environment
General understanding of finance and accounting
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and desire to expand knowledge
Flexible work schedule when needed
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skill
Ability to handle multiple tasks under very tight deadlines
Ability to work under uncertainty, stringent deadlines and limited supervision

Experience/Knowledgeable in QAD/SAP or equivelant ERP system
Experience/knowledge with BFC or equivelant consolidation system
Experience/knowledge with Essbase/BPC or equivelant planning tool
Experience in creating financial models
Consumer Product industry experience
