GEICO is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to coordinate ad hoc and planned analytical projects with a high degree of autonomy. In this role you will coordinate large analytical projects and delegate smaller projects, while providing guidance and leadership to other analyst employees.

You will also assist team lead and/or manager in prioritizing and developing team projects. The ideal candidate for this job can independently seek out analytical opportunities and identify business needs for the team to explore. You will need to employ advanced technical querying, database, and diagnostic tools, and employ advanced statistical techniques such as multivariate and logistic regression/models to analyze customer behavior and segmentations. You will also be responsible for presenting analytical results to a broad range of management including senior management.

You will need to understand Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and transactional data at an expert level and the inter-relationship of multiple systems.

This role does require 10% or less travel and a remote work schedule is available

Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience in Workday Financials and Adaptive Insights

o Proficient Excel skills including knowledge of lookup functions

o Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and Python

o Previous Planning & Budget, Analytical, or Statistical/Modeling experience

o Previous Formal or Informal Leadership Experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

o Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

o Financial Experience

This position involves modelling, forecasting, business planning and analytics. Working with senior business managers, this individual will be responsible for supporting consolidated branch operations. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Director of FP&amp;A (Allentown, PA).</p><p>Job Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Supports annual/monthly financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Analyzes trends, researches issues and responds to inquiries.</p></li><li><p>Forecasts, analyzes, and evaluates financial plans and budgets; develops recommendations to achieve financial objectives.</p></li><li><p>Prepares and distributes analytical and performance tracking reports to sales and operational team leaders.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and distribution to stakeholders and leadership groups of all levels within the organization, inclusive of commentary that helps explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Participates in financial variance reporting for forecast, budget and monthly close packages</p></li><li><p>Builds process improvements that identify and track key operating metrics that can be leveraged to develop planning tools.</p></li><li><p>Creates financial models to support P&amp;L forecasting, annual budgeting process, and evaluation of strategic business decisions.</p></li><li><p>Acts as point of contact for programming, responsible for understanding detailed financials, key variances and identifying risks/opportunities to the business</p></li><li><p>Interfaces with business, finance &amp; sales leads, accounting partners and IT to ensure accurate data and information gathering.</p></li><li><p>Performs analysis/deep dives on profitability, revenue trends and other periodic ad-hoc analytical projects.</p></li><li><p>Assists with the budgeting process by leading the preparation of templates with suggested budgets, distribution to various stakeholders for input, analyzing budget impact of requests and managing timelines.
