The Senior Financial Analyst - Business Partner will provide financial support to Industry and Service business areas in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Leica Microsystems financial policies to ensure Leica's financial growth and success. You will act as business partner and create financial reports in order to help the managing director better manage the business area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and analyze sales and margin plus annual cost center budgets in order to ensure the business area sets realistic goals for the growth in sales and profits.

• Prepare and analyze all income statement forecasts and substantiate any budget deviations to ensure that the business area is on track to achieve its commitments to the corporation.

• Participate in Revenue Recognition testing activities throughout the month

• Support SOX and Financial audits as needed

• Own Sales Commission process including monthly accruals, calculation and analysis for businesses supported by role

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years in a Finance position

• Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience minimum

Masters degree with 5 years of experience preferred

• Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, BW Analysis, Access)

• Travel: 5%

• This is a hybrid role in our Deerfield office with 2-3 days onsite.
