Senior Financial Analyst Fp&A

Overview

This role provides critical financial analysis and support across various aspects of the company's operations, including budgeting, profitability reporting, strategic planning, and cost allocation. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial data and insightful analysis for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Close: Compile monthly shareholder packages, prepare financial close reports, and conduct quarterly variance analysis.

• Budgeting & Planning: Support the annual budget process, managing all facets like revenue, depreciation, aircraft rent, and interest expenses.

• Profitability Analysis: Support monthly profitability reporting and forecasting, requiring a deep understanding of cost structure and the ability to model business condition impacts.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Revenue Planning and Sales to develop the company's long-term strategic plan.

• Quarterly Reporting Support: Assist with the filing process through quarterly Business Segment Reporting and other MD&A support.

• Cost Management: Review cost allocation methods, identify opportunities for improved cost tracing for flight/customer profitability.

• Tactical Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with various operating groups to identify and structure major tactical improvement opportunities.

• Special Projects & Deadlines: Responsible for meeting all deadlines related to the Senior Manager's areas of responsibilities and assisting the management in meeting Company deadlines. This area includes responsibility for special projects as assigned. Including Dashboards for upper management.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in a consulting firm or corporate setting.

• Bachelor's Degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred (must have strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles); MBA is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability in various analytical techniques: comparative ROI, cost-benefit analysis, valuation, statistical models, and cost accounting.

• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and financial modeling. Experience with financial reporting and planning systems, SQL, and database modeling is a plus.

• Quick learner: Knowledge of Anaplan, JD Edwards, or other financial systems is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction across all company levels and with external parties.

• Highly organized, numbers-oriented individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

• Flexibility to work additional hours and travel as required.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
