Job Summary: Under general supervision, and following established policies and procedures, develops, administers, implements, and monitors entity(s)'s accounts payable, general ledger, including financial analysis and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Carries out special projects as assigned by the CFO or Controller.

Job Responsibilities:
Processes accounts payable on a daily basis.
Lead contact with AP vendors and related 3rd parties.
Reviews monthly expenses and identifies variances.
Reconciles cash deposits on a weekly basis for Hospital entities as assigned and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepares records/files for cost reporting purposes.
Assists with annual audit.
Performs analytic review of general ledger and statistics.
Prepares standard journal entries for all entities.
Participates in monthly close process.
Completes annual insurance review questionnaires.
Assists with completion of end of year tax returns (990's) and other related tax forms.
Prepares financial analysis for the purpose of short and long term planning.
Assists in determining methods to reduce entity operation costs and increase revenues.
Assists in the development, maintenance, and data integrity of Anderson's financial systems.
Identifies process improvements to generate efficiencies in accounting and finance.
Resolves problems that may arise and ensures effective communication is provided and maintained with directors, staff and various departments.
Performs financial support for other hospital departments on a needed basis.
Performs related duties, assists others as needed, and performs special projects as assigned by CFO or controller.
Qualifications
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
Certification/Licensure: N/A
Experience Requirements: Five to seven years of experience of healthcare experience preferred, knowledge and experience in financial analysis. Computer and organizational skills preferred.
Working Conditions: Exposure Category III: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues, and Category I tasks are not a condition of employment.
The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Persons who perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid.
