Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Reports To: Finance Manager

Status: Salary

Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support financial reporting, planning and analysis processes at Festival Foods. Job Description


This role will include, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:

  • Support long-range planning, annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes

  • Support weekly cash flow analysis and forecasting processes

  • Prepare financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year results

  • Provide analytical support to other functional areas of the company

  • Develop KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboard

  • Ad Hoc projects involving analysis and reporting


The successful Sr. Financial Analyst candidate will possess the following qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 5+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build relationships with other parts of the business and earn the trust of others

  • Strong business acumen and judgment

  • Ability to lead, influence, challenge and persuade others with new ways of looking at the business

  • Ability to be hands-on, dig into the numbers, improve processes and encourage business growth through analysis

  • Ability to effectively simplify and communicate financial issues with people outside of Finance

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • CPA or MBA a plus

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools and business intelligence tools a plus

  • Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus


  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Professional presence is required

  • Occasional travel may be required

The first is overseeing the operations of the company's security solutions through management of the organization's security analysts. The second is establishing an enterprise security stance through policy, architecture and training processes. Additional tasks will include the selection of appropriate security solutions, and oversight of any vulnerability audits and assessments. The IT Senior Security Analyst is expected to interface with peers in the Systems and Network departments as well as with the leaders of the business units to both share the corporate security vision with those individuals and to solicit their involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and co-operation. Maintains positive working relationships with external technical support and vendors. Must be able to mentor associates with own extensive experience in the technology industry. Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Create, and maintain the enterprise's IT security awareness training program. * Participate in PCI control and control monitoring activities in support of Corporate Compliance to ensure a sufficient passing of the Level 1 ROC. * Lead the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits. * Serve as the IT Security subject matter expert (SME) in the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise security architecture for technical, operational, and administrative activities. * Ensure security configuration compliance with PCI standards and perform periodic user access reviews for Information Technology General Computer Controls. * Participate on IT Security Incident Response Team (IT-SIRT) in the identification, containment, eradication, and resolution of security issues. * Lead the creation of enterprise IT security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures) * Develop and lead IT Security roadmap. * Lead planning and design of an enterprise Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, under the direction of leadership team * Maintain detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the identification and resolution of vulnerabilities and threat vectors. * Provide recommendations for additional security solutions or enhancements to existing controls, to improve overall security and "defense in depth" strategy. * Perform the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions as well as enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standards and best practices. * Maintain baselines for the secure configuration and operations of global devices, whether they are under direct control (i.e., security tools) or indirect control (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.). * Maintain operational configurations of all IT security solutions as per any established baselines. * Monitor all security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations. * Review logs and reports of all devices, whether they are under direct control (i.e., security tools) or indirect control (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.). Interpret the implications of that activity and devise plans for appropriate resolution. * Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories. * Supervise all investigations into problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management. QUALIFICATIONS * Associate degree or Bachelors degree in the field of computer science or 5 years equivalent work experience . * Experience of 5-7 years in IT related roles; Security and Technical Services experience required. * Experience with managing security controls and compliance (PCI Level 1, HIPAA, etc.) * Experience as the lead SME during PCI Level 1 ROC assessments. * Familiarity with system monitoring, assessment and reporting tools (Solarwinds, Nessus, SEIM) * Familiarity with enterprise management of Anti-virus and encryption tools * Proficiency in Active Directory Management and IT network security * Experience with common operating systems (Windows, VMware, and Cisco) * Firewall management (Cisco, Windows Firewall) * Ability to work in independent environments and under aggressive timelines * Ability to develop and maintain working relationships in a global environment * Prior project management experience in a leadership role is * Extensive experience in enterprise IT security architecture design and documents creation * Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training. * Experience in developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans. * Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols. * Extensive experience in securing Windows Operating Systems, including Point of Sale versions. * Familiarity with Visio, Microsoft Project, VMWare, and other end-user applications. WORK SCHEDULE The Information Technology Senior Security Analyst is a full-time salaried position. The work schedule will mostly be between 7:30-5:00, Monday-Friday with occasional nights and weekends. The Senior IT Security Analyst will be part of a weekly on call rotation.
