Who we're looking for

Toyota's Enterprise Vehicle Profit Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Financial Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide financial analysis and support of cross functional Vehicle Line teams through identification of profit trends, issues, and opportunities to drive profit improvement.

Reporting to the Enterprise Vehicle Profit Manager, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Vehicle Profit department's objective of improving vehicle profitability in support of overall NA Region profit goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Support Vehicle Line Teams (Camry, Avalon, Corolla, and RAV4) through in-depth analysis of lifecycle profit performance and provide on-going financial analysis for one-voice of the truth for NA Enterprise financials.

  • Collaborate closely with vehicle line team members on Camry, Avalon, Corolla, and RAV4 across functions spanning from Product Planning, Cost Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Accessories, etc. to drive profit improvement opportunities for current and future models.

  • Provide in-depth analysis on vehicle line teams to identify Revenue and cost trends to determine root causes and then drive profit improvement toward achievement of profit goals.

  • Develop detailed analysis of NA Enterprise Vehicle Profitability (OPBS), creating in-depth analysis of overall vehicle portfolio trends while also highlighting specific series and/or account (Revenue/cost) trends to present to Executive management.

  • Partner with ERP team to support Toyota's NA and Global ERP program in order to deliver Profit By Model (PBM) from new SAP system. Provide business perspective and requirements to help with design, testing, and implementation.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a similar quantitative field

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting and/or a related discipline

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation

  • Exceptional analytic, presentation, interpersonal and organization skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline and detail driven environment

  • Strong PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively apply data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare effective presentations to business customers and influence behaviors to achieve performance improvements

Added bonus if you have

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, Hyperion EssBase/SmartView and Planning software

  • Experience with analytical tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

  • MBA or other advanced degree in a related discipline

  • The following certifications: CPA and/or CMA

  • Understanding of automotive and/or mobility businesses

CPA preferred Form 990, 990-T and 990-PF experience is required MST is a plus but not required.
