The Squarespace Finance team is seeking an eager Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for corporate FP&A for the organization. A key business partner involved with the various aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis/interpretation of financial results. The role requires a strong ethical foundation and the ability to present unbiased and accurate information to all stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners (Finance, Legal and People) on items ranging from compensation, total rewards planning, and our real estate footprint. You will partner with the FP&A Senior Manager to further explore a range of business questions, ultimately helping the company to achieve its financial and operational goals, through data and sophisticated analysis.

You will dig into challenges - from routine operations, to forecasting and planning - to connect the dots and draw valuable insights for the business. You will develop relationships with the leaders on your partner teams, and thereby you should be comfortable presenting financial information to various executive stakeholders. You will report to the FP&A Senior Manager and be based in our New York City office.

You'll Get To…

  • Support the forecast and planning process by communicating with business partners and internal finance team members to identify investment opportunities

  • Partner closely with the People team to manage and forecast all headcount related investments, including compensation and benefits planning

  • Drive improvements to the company's headcount reporting

  • Partner with Workplace Services team for all real estate and facilities planning

  • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations on spend across organizational teams

  • Use knowledge of the business and corporate functions, while proactively providing impactful data and insights that may help drive the decision making process

Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to streamline the use of key business metrics

  • Actively involved in the preparation of the monthly close, forecast, annual planning process, as well as the related financial reviews with Corporate stakeholders

  • Promote innovation and automation

Who We're Looking For

  • 5 - 7+ years experience in financial planning & analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience

  • Mastery of Excel & FP&A Systems experience (e.g., Workday, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite)

  • Willingness to dig into the numbers to gain key insights

  • Ability to effectively interact with team members across the business area and corporate functions, at all levels

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
