Corin USA is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst.

Reporting to the US Director of Finance & Operations, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for various financial tasks including but not limited to budgeting & forecasting, reconciliation of monthly close, and management reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will also prepare sales & inventory analytics, identify and implement process improvements, and assist in other projects that help to drive effective decision making and improved efficiency.


  • Manage monthly close activities including reconciliations of inventory, fixed assets, and cash.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Partnering with the commercial and operations groups to monitor key operational metrics.
  • Collaborating with our global network of offices to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
  • Take an active role in our annual budgeting and audit processes.
  • Work closely with IT for the implementation of upcoming ERP system add-ons.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and assist in special projects.


  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA and/or CPA designations are preferred, but not required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to convert large amounts of data to concise insights.
  • Minimum of 3 years finance or accounting experience in the public or private sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously and to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, coworkers and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both collaboratively as a member of a team and on individual projects.
  • Strong personal initiative and drive to succeed.

Role Value Proposition: This position performs account reconciliations for cash movement reported in general ledger to certify cash is reported accurately for GAAP and Statutory financial statements monthly. This operational position works directly with the Treasury department, any area of business contact within BHF where cash is received and disbursed, and external relationships for accounting operational services provided to BHF. This position is responsible for determining validity of cash balances within ledger derived from multiple accounting data sources and various areas of business or external servicers to certify and generate reporting as requested from management to monitor cash reporting accuracy. Key Responsibilities: * Daily bank to ledger matching of cash activity within Blackline rec tool for about 100 cash accounts holding data from account inception to account closure. Daily assist of ledger to ledger reconciliation for all clearing accounts with various lines of business within rec tool. * Monitor ledger suspended items identified by Financial Information System team for resolution to ensure completion of matching and accurate accounting of cash or clearing accounts in ledger. * Creation of weekly and month end open item reporting by downloading data from rec tool for all cash and clearing accounts to provide aging and commentary for resolution. * Effectively communication to areas of business for correction and resolution of open items to complete matching for accurate reporting by month end close. * Monthly certification for all bank to ledger reconciliation balances for close reporting on over 400 bank accounts including manual reconciliations provided by Third Party Administrators. * Preparation of monthly management reporting for cash and clearing account balances to include metrics by downloading information from single or multiple sources, compile data and formulate results. * Conduct research and/or special studies on rec tool results by downloading from rec tool or financial ledger databases as requested by management to review and monitor cash balances that includes Quarterly GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements. * Work directly with Treasury department, and some areas of business, to open ledger accounts for new bank accounts and to ensure final zero balance in ledger when bank accounts are closed. Assist in set-up process for cash and clearing accounts in ledger. * Provide required documentation as requested by auditors during year reflecting controls over cash and clearing reconciliation accounts and oversight reviews. * Prepare Quarterly and Annual reporting for manager review and submission to executives. Ad-hoc reporting as needed in response to managements requests. * Participate in team meetings to report results, share knowledge, develop best practices, and become rec tool system experts. * Participate in team development of business requirements, creating processes and procedure documents, and data testing as a subject matter expert in rec tool for cross functional IT/business teams developing financial systems or financial accounting transactions and controls within administrative systems. * Receives general direction; refers unusual problems to supervisor. Errors may cause delay to accurate cash reporting, expense and disruption to business. Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: * BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, OR equivalent exp. Completion of, or working towards CPA or MBA a plus. * 2-5 years financial analysis in a public or private company environment. * Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, communications, prioritization & time management skills. Awareness of project management techniques. * Knowledge of Finance function for ledger and reconciliation tool orientation or ability to learn. May participate in technical organizations. * Proficiency with computer systems, PC's and financial software applications (i.e. spreadsheets, financial modeling software). * Working knowledge of accounting concepts, principles and practices.
