Senior Financial Analyst
This position will be a key participant in the company budget and forecast process across several legal entities. It will ensure the integrity of the figures and perform internal reporting for regional management and for our parent company. It will partner with other central functions (i.e. R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Pricing, etc.) to support / lead process improvement projects across the organization.
Principle duties & responsibilities include:
Prepare budget, forecast and analysis for specific Business Segments and legal entities
Prepare budget, forecast and analysis for specific central cost centers, and partner with cost center managers to control/reduce cost
Update distribution cycles in SAP. Manage Budget and Forecast information in SAP.
Perform reporting activities within the Continental consolidation system
Perform monthly analytics and internal reporting requirements for North America
Participation of monthly close process (including journal entries, account / accrual analysis, etc.)
Support and improve compliance activities within the organization.
Work with the Global Shared Service Center in Manila, Philippines on accounting and compliance matters
Participate in special projects: presentations for Region Management, M&A activities, process improvement, system implementation
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5 to 7 years of experience within the accounting / finance function.
The ideal candidate should be a team player, detail oriented, and fast learner. This position interacts with different teams within the organization, therefore requires excellent communication and coordination skills. S/he should be able to deal with multiple requests from multiple bosses and deliver timely and accurately results.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall Microsoft application knowledge (i.e. PowerPoint)
Experience in a manufacturing and / or distribution company is desired.
Experience in an international organizations a plus.
Preferred experience: SAP / Hyperion.
