Our Opportunity:

This position provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to join the Central Finance team to develop P&L forecasts, including sensitivities to macro-economic factors, to support scenario design processes for the company. The scenarios and forecasts serve as key inputs to how Schwab measures the adequacy of its capital position. This position will have the opportunity to work with teams across Schwab's Finance organization, including Treasury, Asset-Liabilities Management and Risk.

What you'll do:

  • Model Schwab's profit & loss financial statement under both Federal Reserve-mandated and internally generated stress scenarios

  • Analyze past, current, and proposed economic scenarios to develop forecasts for key revenue drivers such as client accounts, asset flows, deposit balances and client trading activity

  • Prepare and present analytics, results and recommendations to support the review and discussion process for formal approval of key assumptions with Senior Management and the Board of Directors

  • Support the organization's risk and control self-assessment process, working with Central Finance, Risk Management and various auditing and oversight functions

  • As needed, work with the Regulatory Liaison Office in communicating with regulators on all Capital and Stress Testing related topics

  • Manage projects as required for new initiatives, process improvements, model assumptions changes, or technology implementation and development

  • Develop and maintain documentation for all models to ensure management understanding of operation, purpose and outputs of models

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field

  • 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience

  • 3+ years developing and/or validating financial models

  • 3+ years of experience working with TM1, Hyperion Essbase, SAP BPC or equivalent ERP tool

  • Strong learner

  • Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail

  • Sound business judgment and ability to build and think logically and flexibly when faced with ambiguity

  • Proactive self-starter and team player

  • Communication and relationship building skills

  • Previous experience performing forecast sensitivities a plus

This highly visible position will engage in financial planning, strategic analysis, reporting, process improvement and decision-making support. Responsibilities * Partner with the leader of at least one of the key business functions at Unity (e.g. sales, marketing, monetization, R&D, G&A) to deliver meaningful insights that drive decision-making. * Become an integral member of the financial close process, working closely with business partners to determine actual and projected revenue, headcount, and expense plans. * Complete annual plans, monthly forecasts, financial analyses, and financial reporting. * Identify key metrics and perform analyses to grow revenues and/or drive efficiencies. * Support broader FP&A initiatives including process improvements and systems implementations (e.g. Adaptive Planning, Zuora, RevPro, Workday). Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees * Relevant experience in an analytical role (e.g. financial planning & analysis, investment banking, consulting, etc.) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
